Don't be fooled by the shiny appliances, or by the diligent-and-courteous staff. BTW The staff, the grounds, the appliances and the tenants, all top notch. Five stars for them.
They overcharge EVERYTHING 33% more than your lease says.
By the time you're done with the huge list of utility fees (which they take although you must also pay Rocky Mt Power, Dominion Energy etc on your own [accept being double billed]), water, gas, electric, cable, parking (double billed additional for 1 spot), garbage, and even a mandatory renters insurance surcharge even if you've already got it.
A stated "1,300/month") studio (they call it a 1br) turns out to cost $1,790 per month every month. Believe it.
Oh and btw, when you move out, even on the best of terms, even if you scrub w a toothbrush; they keep your security.
Just remember (I think) you're really dealing w CVG Properties, who spends WAY more time in UT State Court stomping tenants (including collecting on future rent owed for now-vacant apts which they don't really try to fill to mitigate) than they do serving their tenants. They're the Monopoly Man twisting his mustache.

Read moreWe have called the office almost every day for the past week about a maintenance request for our disposal that we put in last Friday, and have bailed out our sink two nights in a row to make sure it doesn’t overflow. We have not been able to reach someone in person for 3 days and have not received any follow up or contact. I’m sorry to say this is not the first time we’ve experienced something like this with management and are extremely disappointed with the level of service we’re (not) receiving.
