Washington Square Park

Went to this park before the leaves on the trees came back. It’s directly across the street from the Main Branch of the Public Library. The courthouse is also across the street from this park.

There is a lot of shade from the trees. I noticed someone eating at a picnic table underneath the trees. Lots of grass. Your dog would love it. However, you would absolutely have to pick up after it when it goes to the bathroom. There are paved walkways that go around the entire park. So you could push a stroller around the park with no problem.

This park is very political. It’s patrolled by security officers. I would not go to this park when political events are taking place. Other than that, it’s a great place to be near nature in the city.
