Sammamish Commons — Attraction in Sammamish

Love this little park. It's in a convenient location as it is close to the YMCA, the library and City Hall. It has a playground for kids to play in with slides, swings (inc. baby swings) and other things that kids can climb up to. It also has a water splash pad, two sheltered picnic areas with picnic tables and grills, and some unsheltered picnic tables, lots of open green spaces for picnicking, a partial paved trail that loops around the park where you can go for a walk, run, jog, walk your dog, bring a baby stroller and even bike on it. It also has two clean Honey Buckets. 😀It is very well maintained and it is also clean. I rated it 4 stars because part of the water splash pad, the water fountain has not been working in a long time. Several people have reported it to the city several months ago to get it fixed but it still not...

Library and Skate park with wide open area with a park and field to do whatever within the K-9 age group. Mainly if safety is a concern send your kid there. Cameras everywhere to help prevent it. Decent staff with the Sammamish P.D. from the few brief encounters which says their isn't much for them to do besides the average DUI or traffic tickets on the regular. SPD uses the Issaquah Municipal Court District with majoriy of the offenses and has a transfer policy for offenders to be housed at Seattle Jail for Felony based or whenever Issaquah Jail is full which is more than usual which is for the Misdemeanor charges.

I took my son here for the first time and wished we’ve gone here a lot sooner. This park has a few things to offer. Great pavilion, skate park, kiddie park and splash pad on warmer days, walking trails, great views, YMCA and very safe, police station on site.

Park in the lower commons if you want to enjoy the short walking trail, kiddie park and splash pad. Park by the YMCA for the skate park which is open 24hrs. For parents there is a lot of spots to wait for you kids while they play. This park is very clean, well maintained and everyone that goes here are very respectful...
