Papaya Sammamish — Restaurant in Sammamish

*Lowering my review by a star. If you're going to charge me $15 to drop $1.70 worth of greens and noodles into a bowl and put it in a bag the MINIMUM you could do is make sure the broth you're giving me isn't stone cold. I eat here generally once a week out of convenience and because the food is good but I'm done. This was the last time. There's no attention to deal in the interest of giving a great customer experience here.

The food is amazing but I'm knocking off two stars because of the takeout packaging that they changed to.

They changed their broth container from plastic to thin cardboard and as a result the pho broth ends up lukewarm at best by the time I get home with it (less than 5 minutes from the kitchen to my apartment in the same plaza).

For comparison the broth used to be piping hot coming out of the old container even if I let it sit at the restaurant waiting for me for 10-15 minutes before...

Absolutely impressed- we were a bit apprehensive about the price for takeout ($66 total for two beverages and two entrees)- but I must say we were so impressed. We ordered the beef tenderloin luc lac and the garlic tofu noodles, and a mango slushie with boba, and one strawberry lemonade. The mango slushie was absolute perfection- not too sweet not too tart, and the boba is incredibly delicious. The strawberry lemonade was probably the best I’ve ever had- perfection! Exactly what strawberry lemonade should be like. The tenderloin was melt in your mouth delectable and the fries… the best fries we’ve ever tried, just wow. Lastly the garlic noodles were amazing- for a simple dish it was done with care and perfect flavor, so impressed. So delicious! Definitely a bit more pricey...

I've been here many many times and they NEVER disappoint. The garlic fries are so crispy and taste extra delicious when dipped in the coconut curry dish. The service is awesome! I swear I have the same server every time and I just love that guy! I love the selection of tasty beverages as well, the pomegranate tea and the guava lemonade being great choices. I've also had the baguette sandwiches, the tofu is my favorite but be sure to ask for jalapeno to kick it up a knotch. The friend I go with is pretty obsessed with the veggie pho, I have to admit, it looks pretty awesome and packed with lots of fresh veggies. Bottom line..... try this place. Everything is...
