Court Of Gamers — Attraction in San Antonio

Staff is super nice! Always smiling and laughing when I come in, instantly make me feeling welcome. They have a HUGE selection of soooo many nerdy things! Dice, Stickers, Board games (for sale and to try out), Models for all sorts of table top and card games - Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer (Fantasy and 40k), Star wars, Bolt Action, Yu-Gi-Oh, Sorcery, Pokemon, Magic the Gathering etc. Terrain pieces for sale, Plenty of tables and Battle Maps to play all sorts of games and set ups on. They also sell snacks and drinks for those long play sessions.

Best of all (and this was a big one for me) THEY HAVE A REWARD SYSTEM! Spend money and you get a cog - (don't remember how much it was but I got like, 7-8 cogs for buying a few dice and some stickers) at 10 cogs you get store credit to spend on getting more cogs! I've not met a game store who does rewards like this and I love it. Definitely going back.

There was a group of 5 people seated behind the counter and they could not be interrupted from hanging out and talking about shows to greet me and my daughter when we walked in, or ask us if we needed any help or why we were there. We walked around looking at products and were ignored the entire time. When we left, there was more silence. My daughter decided to buy something so we went back in, no greeting, and stood by the counter for almost 5 minutes before we asked to purchase something. We were ignored for almost 5 minutes trying to buy something. I have been here once before and had a similar experience. I am never coming back. There are several great game stores in this city. We won't be going back, and I won't be recommending this...

Absolutely the best game story have have been too in ages. The owner, a blue haired darling, is incredibly nice. They have everything from your standard games to gemstone dice and large detailed mini's for dnd and other ttrpg. They also have game rooms for when you don't have enough space to play at home, which is incredibly nice. They come with the added bonus of mini's and other things you can use during your games. Absolutely great for those who don't have the money to buy a lot of add on stuff but still want to play an immersive game.
