I saw some really nice paths on the reviews so I was very excited to go for a walk. However, we got there and we could not find a place to park and we did not find the entrance to the Headwaters Sanctuary walk trail. We parked the truck at the University grounds hoping we didn't get a ticket. And still could not find this walk trail. Got back to the truck and drove around the whole campus. We stopped and asked a couple of the students for guidance and they said that there was no parking with in the campus, but she said it was over by the football field, baseball field and tennis courts. Read moreWe went to this location to look for the Blue Hole. Had seen pictures online showing a picturesque hole filled with blue water. That must have been a freak occurrence which only happens post a large rainstorm or flood, as that is not the norm. Our experience seeing the small blue hole was literally that, a small hole in the ground filled with garbage. Very depressing. We thought hunting down the actual Blue Hole (not small one) would yield better results. Not so much, just more garbage. Sad, and not...
Read moreOk I finally figured out how to enter these hiking trails. Its near the baseball field. Found Brigids path and Brigids trail. I parked on Broadway and probably took me 20 mins to walk thru campus to the start of the trailhead (brigids path). It was cold and rainy and kinda loud bc the road is right there.....but still pretty, and no one else on the trail head so score. I think I'll try this trail again- now that I know...
