On Monday ' December 6, 2021 at 1230 I did a drive thru at this location. After feeling poorly in the morning, I decided I needed some lunch. I waited in the fast moving drive thru and placed an order for a Rancher plate for my husband and three pieces of fried chicken for myself. By the time I got to the window, I had decided I wanted a FOUR piece, so that I could have lunch and dinner. They were very kind and accommodating in amending my order. Their fried chicken is always tender, juicy, has a great crispy coating. My husband loved his Rancher's plate, as always. LOVE this location.

On Monday, 1 Feb 2021 I placed a large online order for pickup at 5:30. Everything was ready except for the hash browns, which they were making fresh. The order was filled perfectly, the staff were very attentive and polite, and the food was GREAT! Brisket, sausage and grilled chicken were moist and flavorful. The hash browns were perfect, the cole slaw was delicious, the beans were great, and the mac & cheese was surprisingly good! The loaves of white bread were soft and fresh. The sauce is good. In all, a wonderful experience.

Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Did a drive thru during their very busy lunch hour and one big reason the line moved so quickly was the employee with the electronic order board standing outside taking orders and credit card payments. My husband had a double meat Poor Boy with hash browns and I had my old faithful four pieces of dark chicken and a side of hash browns. The food was fresh and hot, and ready when we got to the window. Employees were very, very pleasant and...

I come here every once in a while. It’s convenient and food is consistent. The location across from Incarnate Word, however, continues to treat customers poorly. You can only order from the “Pick-up” line regardless if you’re dining in or not. Which is not that big of a deal in itself, except that they don’t communicate that to customers because the “Dining in” line always appears to be open. Older folks, sometimes folks with disabilities, walk toward the “dining in” line and employees ignore that and wait for them to figure it out for themselves before they help. It’s incredibly rude and sad really.

I understand that there may be issues with staffing and maybe this location is only focused on being efficient at the drive thru but I’ve seen this issue with customer service so many times that I’ll choose to have a meal elsewhere.

Furthermore, I came to dine in, they forgot some of my order. I figured it was just taking a little longer. I ate the order I received and went back up to get what was missing.

There was no apology or acknowledgement of any kind. Very impersonal. The manager stood there as the employee grabbed the rest of my order with no eye contact or acknowledgment. I hope I’m not coming across as a butthead but I encourage someone from corporate “shop” this location. Take an objective look at how it’s run. In my opinion, it won’t take...

It's unfortunate to say that this location lacked customer service 4 years ago, and still does. My visit was just as disappointing. They store is not clean, empty tables were dirty, my plate consisted of ribs, all bone hardly any meat- rice, all large pieces of bell pepper, onions and tomatoes...hardly any rice, and green beans. The bag of pickles and onions was on the tray I was not allowed to touch and the lady took it with her. The soda, big red, wad flat, it looked pink not red...the manager asked if I was paying cash or card instead of greeting me mind you this was not rush hour... I said card, he said I could place my order on their screen ( which by the way was filthy) I said I don't want to do that, I want a cashier to take my order...then the attitude came...with the looks. I should have left... If you can avoid it- do son- give YOUR money to a company that appreciates YOU keeping them in business and pays THEIR salaries. Also a service man was waiting to get a refill and the ladies in the serving line never acknowledged him, they clearly knew he was there, but they were too busy chatting with each other. He finally got tired of standing there and went to the side to get help....
