Joske Pavilion — Attraction in San Antonio

Very neglected looks absolutely nothing like pictures online the whole area smells awful the water there is thousands of white birds in trees so there is thick layer of excrement just left to smell and accumulate. Then there for some reason a very large group of vultures permanently residing around the pavilion and adjacent closed playground. The vultures alone have completely covered entire playground with feces that has been accumulating since COVID caused the playground to close. The only reason 2 stars were given and not 1 is due to the fact that it is a landmark that is salvageable with some local/city...

My husband and I had our 10 Year Vow Renewal here and it was perfect. We even had a wedding moon bounce and DJ. The price is amazing, and the security is reasonable and it is all around a beautiful location. We renewed our vows on our actual anniversary on July 3, 2019. It was in the middle of the week, the park was not packed and it was not miserably hot. We had a great time! We got beautiful photos near the water and by the bridge. An Old Reliable in the middle of Brackenridge Park. Of course you have to call the city in order to rent the space. There's lots of room for a big party, and you'll need to bring a broom because the people who rented it before you may have left a mess. The city will rent it out to you in four-hour chunks. I'm not totally sure of the cost so I won't list it here. But there's plenty of walking areas, plenty of recreation areas, the Witte Museum is close, the zoo is close and the restrooms are close. They are public restrooms...
