The skatepark was fairly nice. No complaints there. I took my girlfriend and stepdaughter with me to the park and as they were on the playground, there were two other kids maybe 5 or 6 years old the that came up and started playing with my stepdaughter. They were not wearing masks and instantly started talking to us. Wouldn't leave us alone (not that we asked,) while their parents played with their phones. The other little girl literally picked up my stepdaughter because she "knew how to hold a baby" and wanted to show us. Take responsibility for your kids please. Or at least hire security to enforce the 6 foot distance protocols, it shouldn't be a parents job to tell another parent what to do, but clearly...
Read moreMartinez Park has a few basketball courts, a smallish shaded play area, and skateboard park (although it’s also used by roller skaters and bikers, etc). The skatepark features smooth pavement, a mid-sized bowl, and a few banks and ledges to ride on. What you’ll also notice about the skatepark is that it sits on a slight grade/incline and it can be difficult to ride against the incline. Most other skateparks are flat and you can ride them any which way. There are no bathrooms, but i did notice two water fountains. Besides the playground, you won’t find a lot of shade at this park. Read moreIt's a park to get your skate board,rollerskates,scooter,bike out and practice some new tricks out in this park or take a stroll with the toddlers down the painted educational sidewalk or the playground. Yet it's sadly being uncared for like both basketball courts floors are cracked, garden wood sstructures are broke or need paint,and they need to make good restrooms at parks instead of 1 porta potty... Kids love the outdoors anyways also there are several bbq pits and picnic tables even one covered one...
