Terra Oak Trailhead — Attraction in San Antonio

Wanted to find a new place close by to hike the trails with my wife and our dog. Nice entrance with signs to navigate but the enchantment stops there.

After only 10 minutes into our walk and no trails with easy or obvious access...boring! Some of the other commenters have not been to many parks or trailheads.

It's amazing. Peace & quiet. I've seen a lot of people walking, jogging & biking there. I even ran into some friends that I haven't seen in years. The trails are long and it's worth it. I liked the shady paved path, the trees and shrubs full of birds including cardinals. A few dog walkers, runners and walkers were out but it’s far from crowded.
