Forest Oak Landing — Attraction in San Antonio

This facility started as a beautiful and well-staffed venue but was purchased by a large group based out of New York mid to late 2023 and has been declining since. They have been unable to keep staff, the food quality is sub-par, and they are asking elderly tenants to move to another temporary apartment so that they may renovate existing ones and increase rent by nearly $1000/month. Meanwhile the current tenants are having their water turned off unexpectedly 3-4 times a week. This makes it impossible for people requiring care givers to get bathing and laundry completed when assistance is available. Not only are they inconveniencing one of society's most vulnerable populations but they are also price gouging them with out the associated amenities that should come with that price tag. The Inn at Los Patios is a top notch facility for your loved one that needs independent living or assisted living. As a healthcare professional, I am impressed by their resident care, customer service, and beautiful facilities. Many times people have to choose between great care or beautiful esthetics, but not here. You get both. I am most impressed by their ability to keep residents at their appropriate level of care. They do a fabulous job of making sure residents meet criteria for Independent Living and Assisted Living, along with making sure they move to a higher level of care when needed. They have 2 amazing sister facilities that provide a secured unit for memory care so your loved one can move along the continuum of care smoothly. This place is located in one of the most Serene areas of town it's just beautiful out there. Every time I go there I can't believe it's right off NE Loop 410, it makes you think your out in the country. All the residents are always walking around or in the common areas playing cards, reading the newspaper or just sitting around chatting. And the staff is always very helpful and friendly!!!
