Not a fan and she doesn’t have any customer service skills. I will never patronize this business it was so bad that I told her to give me my dress and I’ll take it elsewhere. She proceeds to hand me her business card talking about you can call me if you have any questions. NOPE I’M GOOD! I’ve had numerous dresses altered before but she acted like my dress was just made wrong.

Let me give you another star because I completely forgot you provided me with another hanger due to the fact that the one that came with the dress broke. I had a white garment bag and you asked if I wanted a better clear bag. Let’s clear that up. I would not intentionally drag a $250 dress that I paid for my daughter it was the train that was dragging and I didn’t realize it until I stepped on it and then corrected it by holding it up higher. Mind you I was holding a train, the dress and the bow because I indicated that I don’t member how it was placed. Hmmm

For one my daughter is very petite and for two nothing you ever buy will be perfect. This is my daughter’s 15th formal dress that she will be wearing and each time I had to have them altered because I buy them already made. I had a question regarding how she was going to alter the dress and after I asked her she proceeds to say “so what’s your question” I said give me my dress back I’ll take it someone else. WTH, I don’t think so.

Lastly, I don’t bash any business I was trying to support a small business and it just didn’t work. Like you said you were being truthful well so am I. The dress is not perfect but in your eyes it was terrible. I don’t know any dress that you buy and it fits someone perfectly. That’s why I came to have it altered. My point of view is I tried to support a small business and it wasn’t a pleasant experience.

Peace is always with me and what gives you the right to tell someone to calm down. You need to get some business training and learn how to treat people.

To add-I found another company who admired my dress and didn’t have anything negative to say or better yet try to re-design the back of my daughter’s dress. Maria made my custom wedding dress from beginning to end. I am very happy with my beautiful gown and all the amazing details.

I tried on a few wedding gowns at different bridal stores and realized none of them had everything I wanted. That’s when I began my search for a custom wedding gown and found Maria on google. After reading the reviews, seeing pictures and speaking to her over the phone I set up and appointment to discuss my vision.

At the appointment I felt heard and knew she was an expert by the way she spoke and explained what I should expect. The pricing I felt was reasonable for the quality of dress and workmanship that I received-if it’s cheap it won’t be any good! She first showed me all the materials she would be using prior to starting to make sure I approved the colors and textures.

The process was 6 months from beginning to end. I would advise you meet with her as soon as you’ve decided on your dress design-she stays very busy and at times rescheduling is necessary. I did get a bit stressed at times since there’s so many other things going on while planning a wedding-therefore the more time you have the better. Be prepared to be flexible and understanding, Maria is an expert but also a one woman show.

For reference I am a size 16 in regular clothes, 5’8, about 230 lbs. Maria measured me throughout the process and did the final fitting the week of my wedding.

I’ve attached pictures of my “design” and the final product. We made changes during the process to better fit my body but the final dress was THE ONE for me and I was very emotional once I saw it at my final fitting. It fit like a glove and made me feel beautiful!

I am a plus size bride and I had bought 2 wedding gowns; one from David’s bridal ceremony and one from Della Curva essence of Australia collection for the reception, Mary made sure I was comfortable and when I tell you her suggestions are golden please don’t hesitate to agree, she will make sure you not only look but feel your best, her prices and timing are very reasonable, her work is impeccable, she added lace to my diamond opening to cover up the rolls on my back which I’m very insecure about, she added straps to my other gown cause I’m insecure about my arms, she was nice enough to wait and teach my bridal party how to lace me in correctly and also how to put me in my dresses to prevent any mishaps, my ceremony gown had a sheer mesh where the middle of my breasts were exposed but she sewed it together and gave it a more classy, elegant, comfortable feel, my sella Curva gown has a tear at the coccyx part where she easily repaired it, she took in my waist on the DB gown and added bra cups because they were too bulky before, this was my very first time working with her and I am beyond satisfied and impressed! you will not regret coming here !
