I just returned from the most epic Halloween rave event of the year – Escape 2024, presented by Insomniac at the NOS Event Center in San Bernardino! This was my fourth year attending Escape, and I can confidently say it was the best one yet!
From the moment we arrived at the venue, it was clear that Insomniac had outdone themselves. The NOS Event Center was transformed into a spooky wonderland, complete with eerie lighting, fog machines, and massive stage productions. The atmosphere was electric, with ravers of all ages and styles gathered together to celebrate the Halloween season.
But the real magic happened when the music started. The lineup was stacked with the biggest names in EDM, including Adam Beyer, Alison Wonderland, and RL Grime. Each set was more incredible than the last, with the DJs expertly weaving together tracks to keep the crowd energized and dancing all night long.
One of the highlights of the event was the incredible stage production. The main stage, in particular, was a marvel of modern technology, with towering LED screens, pyrotechnics, and even a massive, fire-breathing spider that descended from the ceiling during one of the sets!
But what truly made Escape 2023 special was the sense of community that pervaded the entire event. Everyone was dressed in their most creative and outrageous Halloween costumes, from giant spiders and zombies to superheroes and video game characters. It was a truly immersive experience, with ravers of all ages and backgrounds coming together to celebrate their shared love of music and self-expression.
Insomniac's attention to detail and commitment to safety were also impressive. The event was incredibly well-organized, with clear signage, ample parking, and a smooth entry process. The staff and security were friendly and helpful, ensuring that everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience.
In short, Escape 2023 was an unforgettable night of raving bliss. If you're a fan of EDM, Halloween, or just looking for an exciting and immersive experience, do not miss this event! Insomniac truly outdid themselves this year, and I'm already counting down the days until Escape 2024!

Read moreI would give this venue 0 stars if I could. I attended Self Help Fest and the bands were all great. A Day To Remember was amazing as always. When the screens and audio weren't constantly cutting out, that is. This is hands down the worst venue I've ever been to for a concert. I was ready to leave by 5pm but forced myself to stay for the headliner band. It started at the front gate, where security guards were telling people to throw away opened bottles of water. One guy refused to dump his gallon size jug and the guard said "It could be alcohol, we're just doing our job." I blame the venue, not the guards, of course. They are just doing their job but if you're going to charge $4 for a tiny ass 16 oz bottle of water and then run out of water and food before 6pm, then many, just maybe, you should let guests bring in their own beverages and food. The lines for the 5 or 6 food trucks (yes 5 or 6 to serve 17,000 people) were at minimum an hour and a half long and you don't know what it feels like to stand in line burning in the sun to get to the front, only to be told they're out of water. Oh and they only take cash but there aren't any signs posted anywhere so better hit the ATM and get back in line for another hour. Absolutely ridiculous. I got so desperate that I went to medical and asked if they had a water spout to refill bottles and he told me "California is in a drought, we can't offer free tap water. You have to buy it from one of the vendors." As they said this, a woman was being wheeled in looking red as a tomato and suffering from dehydration and heat stroke. What a joke. Some other mentionable things were how the lines for beer stretched more than halfway across the grounds, forcing everyone to make a huge circle just to get around, the water in the fountain pool looked and smelled like sewage, and one of the stages was held in a metal barnlike structure that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in 20 years with cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and fans and had terrible acoustics (could barely make out the words of any song). The latter wouldn't make or break a venue for me but were still small annoyances. I've been to venues where tickets cost half the price and it was godly compared to the NOS...
Read moreIf I could give it a zero I would we were scammed by this place at a 2x monster truck event not the events fault but this venues fault !!!!! This event could have been fun but venue was terrible no parking the line to park was hours long. (We ended up parking at the mall for free glad we followed some locals and didnt wait in the insane line to park we would have missed the show) then it only got worse. No food at the venue just a couple food trucks with insane lines there is only a few bathrooms for 1,000s of people. We paid for fan zone you pay for the reserved seats they didn't regulate it and keep general admission seperate. they didn't scan tickets so people could just screen shot tickets so there wasn't enough seats they didn't reserve the seats for the extra money so to me thats fraudulent. It was in a Super sketchy area and they had no metal detectors or wands they were just feeling up on the guys only.... it was all super weird like a fever dream. The worst thing tho was they didn't even put enough dirt down for the trucks and the venue was too small for them to get speed to do anything. Not worth it. We got scammed I looked up this event at other venues and it has full dirt and looked way better and had more trucks. This venue was literally the worst I have ever been too 2x please fix this and never go back to...
