San Bruno Golf Center — Attraction in San Bruno

I was hoping to use the practice green there today. I walked away without hitting a single ball. Multiple signs saying that they are only going to operate till 10/31/2023. The practice green area is occupied by heavy machine equipment. The small green area on the other site looks very beaten up. The grass tee area look more like rough than fairway (I am not sure if that's the standard or not). The double deck driving range look alright. Balls are reasonably priced. Mostly old people there. Their shots are terrible, lol.

I wouldn't mind hitting a few balls off the grass. But unfortunately their range card is not transferrable to Marina point. The place is obviously abandoned by management. The safety net is very broken. There is are signs there telling people that the net is broken, AIM LEFT. lol. If those people can aim properly they wouldn't be there practicing. Fortunately most of those folks can't hit the balls much farther than 100 yards.

Covered lower level is a great option when it is raining. Spaces are wide with lots of room to swing. Worn balls get replaced every few months. Range card best value $200 gets you $250. You should use up the card balance by October 2023. The short game practice area is now closed because PG&E is using it to stage their equipment. I know all the driving ranges and golf courses within 30 miles from home .. ok the bonus question regarding San Bruno driving range .. why is this range unique from Cypress , Burlingame, Mariners , (now poplar creek has a mini range without the lame nets) ... give up?? San Bruno is the " double decker" or two levels of mats so it can accommodate more players and the grass practice area is open and in good condition, putting green as well- love this range!
