The quality and preparation don't come anywhere near justification of inflation of that magnitude.
The general lack of vegetarian options is basically a middle finger to any vegetarians which might show up.
The background music was for the most part really annoying.
A group of 6-8 came in and sat at a table next to us, looked at the menu and immediately left. (They weren't even there long enough for me to turn and get a proper count.)

The restaurant had a great selection of izakaya dishes, skewers, sushi, and sake, and everything I tried was delicious. The sushi was fresh and expertly prepared, and the izakaya dishes were full of flavor and texture. I especially enjoyed the oyster special and surprisingly, the corn tempura. The service was also excellent, with the staff being very friendly and accommodating. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations. Apart from a group at the bar who were a bit rambunctious, the atmosphere was nice and cozy, making for a great dining experience.
