Denault's Ace Hardware — Attraction in San Clemente

VERY GOOD SERVICE ! Another errand to take of while we were up in San Climate on Saturday. Straight after leaving South OC Cars and Coffee inside the Outlets at San Clemente carpark we headed to this Ace Hardware store. We parked in their huge carpark around 10.45am and walked inside. Don't laugh but all I was looking to buy were a few small rubber O rings which act as a clasp on the Topeak Modula Java Bottle Cage on my bike...a very sturdy holder for my 20 oz Hydro Flask but the O ring to hold the securing strap is the weak link. Of course trying to find stuff in hardware stores is like looking for a needle in a haystack. We found a young male employee named Angel who offered us help to find the O ring section. It had to be exactly the same as the one I have on there now..which is ready to break after a few months hard work. And between us we found the exact same size, width etc as I wanted. THANKS ANGEL ! I grabbed 5 and I think they were 53 cents each. We hit the checkout and then hit the road for downtown...

Went online to check prices and see if they were the right price when I got to First got here try to talk to the manager and the sales person and they kept arguing And tell me that they didn't have a website and then after everything said and done after I paid their price which was $20 more and they told me if I want I could go on their website with throw it off to the website and get the price on what I purchase overpaid for I'd get a cheaper 30 minutes sitting at the counter talking to the service manager and maybe the owner that came over And at the end of saying all that to me saying they didn't have a website I was wrong they were right they told me to go to their website and order it online next time Fake people fake managers fake workers all fake would not refer anyone to come here at all They will try to go deeper and deeper into your pockets...

VERY HELPFUL SERVICE ! I needed to rejuvenate a couple of cast iron planter stands....both very rusty. My wife and I popped in here on Tuesday afternoon to have a look. We were directed to the paint section by a helpful female cashier. CHUCK IS THE MAN ! And we were told to look for Chuck the paint expert. Within seconds we found Chuck and he took us to the kill rust product I was looking for. He also suggested I could paint over it afterwards. PROBLEM SOLVED ! So we bought a spray can of kill rust paint and a spray can of black enamel paint to go over that....
