Alohana Acai Bowls & Coffee — Restaurant in San Clemente

I've found my new favorite hidden hideout in San Clemente! Tucked away in this charming old town shopping center is Alohaha, a place that absolutely nails both açai bowls and coffee in the most delightful way.

First off, the staff here deserves a special shoutout — they're genuinely warm and welcoming in that way that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. Abby in particular is an absolute ray of sunshine who reminds you in her demeanor, that life is beautiful!

Their coffee smoothies are where the magic happens. The perfect balance of rich coffee flavor and smoothie goodness that somehow manages to be refreshing and energizing at the same time. Not too sweet, not too bitter — just right.

One of the best acái bowls i’ve ever had! (I would have a picture, but I was too busy eating it lol). I ordered the Uppers (PB, Nutella & Acái) and it was amazing!! Lots of toppings and a large/filling portion for a very reasonable price of $9.50. My order came out very quickly which I was shocked by considering how many people were in the store. I also appreciated that it came with a lid already on the bowl so it wouldn’t spill everywhere in my car. I stopped by and instantly felt uncomfortable because none of the other customers were wearing a mask and the workers were allowing it. There was a sign on the door that asked customers to wear a mask but again nobody paid attention or cared. I wanted to try the food but at the end of the day I didn’t feel comfortable being around people who didn’t care about the well being of themselves or others so I went to another place.
