A nicely paved trail that’s switches back-and-forth on this half mile hike definitely a steep paved path. It is wide enough that a vehicle could get down one way you definitely wanna leave some energy after a swim or surf or hiking along the beach coast to be able to get back up the path. If you need assistance in walking, you might want to bring a cane or walking sticks or possibly use a golf cart in order to get down with a vehicle or a golf cart. You would need a key (digital) to open the gate. This trail leads down to Black’s Beach. My brother Pete On loved to surf here.

First time going down this amazing trail (did it at midnight) down to the beach where you can watch the bioluminescent waves crash onto the shore. Please take caution as the steps are incredibly sketchy with how slippery and steep they are. Bring proper footware if you don't have much experience with uneven terrain as I saw a girl almost slip while wearing her crocs. All together it's also a great workout. Just take precautions and enjoy the trail with friends.

Really cool ridge trail - easily accessible from the glider port parking lot. It’s an easy walk, and you can set up a little picnic if you want to along different points along the trail. You have nice views of the water and you can see some nice houses on the side of the hill, including the razor house. Awesome walk to go on to see the hang gliders floating above, some great photo ops for sure

This 5 stars is really for myself and these very steep stairs on a cliff in spite of my crippling fear of heights. This set of stairs is not for you if you are afraid of heights. Just go farther down and meander down the calm sloping driveway that the lifeguards use and walk down the beach to get here if that’s the point. This is faster. And for a lot of people, no big deal. But for my acrophobia friends... y’all don’t. DON’T. AllTrails has this listed at just about a half a mile and 200 steps. Very pretty at the top, very pretty at the bottom, have no idea about during because my face was up close to the ground as I crouched my way...

Citizen's Trail is the fastest route to Black's Beach, and it offers spectacular views. While there aren't too many areas with railings, there aren't really any spots where you could "fall and die." However, if you did fall off the trail, you'd likely get scraped up, and need help getting back up! For the average hiker, plan on ten minutes down and 20 minutes up. It's steep, and your muscles will appreciate the workout, but it's certainly not 'bad' or something to avoid unless you're truly physically limited. Just take your time and enjoy the view and bring a little extra water. I would not recommend taking kids under 18...
