This is a beautiful and very dangerous trail. There are many rescues from this trail yearly and a couple deaths/hospitalizations. The sandstone is very worn away in some areas and it’s very easy to slip into a crevasse and fall 10-20ft if you do not pay attention to your footing or you slip. I would definitely not do this trail after it rains. It is a moderately physical trail and there is some rock scrambling. While you do not need hiking boots, definitely use shoes with a good grip.

There’s a paved path a few minutes away. Consider going down the paved path and start the hike from the bottom. You get a pretty good sense of how slippery and narrow the path can be in the first few...

They need to either put up a lot of signs ON THE TRAIL guiding people away from the dangerous areas, or close it.

One of the nurses said she's done that hike a couple times over the past several years and it has eroded a really badly and become a lot...

Difficulty: Depends on when you go. When it is dry it is a bit easier but after it rains, it becomes very slick since there's a lot of clay, once you get past all the sandstone, and becomes harder.

Is it worth it: No, it's just dangerous for the sake of being dangerous. When there is Blacks Beach Trailhead not too far away. One wrong mistake can lead to death.

Is it okay to bring children: NO!

Are...
