This place lacks Customer service skills, starting with the manager ANNA!. My son who special needs, had to use the bathroom number 2. He asked ANNA and she told him NO!..but he didn't understand her. When my son found me he, he was devastated and crying. So I rushed to get in line to pay. He had to go badly . I was in A-line, waiting to pay, ANNA was in the next cash register. I asked her Very politely, if she could please open up because my son was having a emergency, he really had to go. I told her he is special needs and he can not HOLD IT. ANNA replied "go somewhere else, I already closed the cash register." I asked her, can you please reopen? She replied NO! I can not, Then I asked, can he use your bathroom? She again replied NO! It's out of order, go next door. I replied, we are your customers not next doors. and she walked away as I was still speak to her, she acted as if I was bothering her. I Had no choice but to run out and try to find a bathroom for my son with Special Needs. A very nice and Compassion man at Cafe Royale let my son use the bathroom even though we were not his Customers. Then we returned to the Dollar Tree store. ANNA had opened the cash register and was helping other customers. I told her, your rude, You lack empathy and you lied, you can reopen the register, I also told her she needed Customer service training, and needed to Educate herself on how to handle people with special needs, that I can't believe she's the so called manager, and that she's a bad example for the rest of the employees. She should be ashamed of herself. I love Dollar Three, but with employees like that, I won't be coming back to this store ever. Stay away from this store...DSA and Adults with...
Read moreThere is two African American cashiers that work pm shift very rude and bad customer service. One of the cashiers tried to tell me how I should raise my daughter i bought some green apple licorice that didn’t have much sugar & was on the healthy side I paid for it then gave a piece to my daughter and the lady judged me and said that i shouldn’t give my daughter candy this late, it was 7pm and she said kids shouldn’t be eating candy that late. Then she started mocking a British accent I don’t know what for but that was freaking me out. A few weeks later I decided to give the store one more chance, as I was paying there was a different cashier who is also African American and she didn’t say hi or anything just silent no smile nothing then as she finished scanning my items my husband and I realized we forgot our money in the car my husband ran to get the money and she said rudely you got to pay after I told her yes my husband went for the money she made me feel as if I can’t afford the items or as a thief when I was standing there waiting for my husband to get back then she asked do you guys have money? And I said yes I can afford this we just forgot the money in the car and a kind man that was waiting to check out offered to pay I accepted so I wouldn’t keep holding the line and I paid him the money instead. I told her to cancel the transaction and I could’ve waited back in line but she just stood there looking at me with a stink face and judging me asking if I really had the money. I know they’re going to keep getting away with this but I hope the manager can do...
Read moreRecently moved here & thought I’d hit the mother-load when I saw how big this store is. Unfortunately, this location doesn’t have as wide a variety of items as most of the smaller stores, and they definitely don’t have enough employees! No matter the time of day I ALWAYS end up in line for at least 15 minutes; even if there wasn’t a line when I walked in 🙄 And not once has another employee opened up a second register. I’ve either waited in the long line, frustrated & hot, or put back my items and left. I’m taking my own advice & not coming here hoping for a different outcome anymore. I can’t tell you about the service bc it’s been non-existent. This is one of the dirtiest & messiest locations I’ve been in, which I have to attribute to the owners rather than the employees becauuuuuse…I rarely see any! Once I get to the register though I have been treated well, which is surprising given how frustrated & tired the cashiers must feel. Trying to end on a positive note I will saaay… hmmm maybe now that Fall is here YOU might not get a side of hot w/your frustration;...
