I was part of the bridal party for a wedding yesterday 10/4/14. The limo took us from San Marcos to University of San Diego campus. The limo was clean and spacious. That wasn't a problem. The problem was that the limo driver chose to go the long way (78W to 5S) instead of taking the quickest way (15S to 163S). That is 47 miles versus 32 miles. On top of that there was traffic on the 5 south. So what should have been a 30-40 minute drive took 75 minutes, making the whole bridal party late, which led us to have a shortened ceremony and the domino effect took place. If you have ever planned a wedding, you know that there are many variables that can make your perfect wedding not perfect, but a limo driver taking the wrong route shouldn't be one of them. It was unfortunate that I wasn't paying attention to the route that she was taking until it was too late to back track. But should the customer have to concern themselves about that with all of the other things that are on their minds? When I found out that we were taking the wrong route, I checked google maps to see if there was a freeway closure or bad accident. Maybe that would explain it. But there was none. All green on the 15 south, and there were patches of red and yellow on the 5. This did not make sense to me. The photographer that left when we left took the 15 south and made it to USD in 30 minutes. I couldn't believe it. So when we went back in the limo after the wedding to take us back to San Marcos for the reception, I politely asked the limo driver if we would be taking the 15 North. She said we would. I asked her why we didn't take the 15 South earlier. She was quite rude, saying that the dispatcher told her to take the 78 to the 5. I then asked her why she would do that if it is a longer route, and I asked her if she uses google maps to check traffic. She said that she does have it. I really can't fathom what was going through her head and the dispatchers head. So I asked her again for some reasonable answer to explain why she took us on that route, she replied, "Do you want to drive?" I found that to be quite rude. We are paying for timely transportation and service and we received neither. One last thing that I found out later on was that the BRIDE asked her if she was going to take the 15 South when we got in the limo in San Marcos. The limo drivers response, "Don't worry, we will take care of it." Evidently they didn't take care of it and I would not recommend this company for anyone who desires timely transportation or...
Read moreHired Epic Limo yesterday for me and my friends to go out Christmas shopping and have a nice dinner. They showed up on time with a Sprinter limo bus which is what we ordered. The bus was in incredibly bad shape and we were shocked that a limo company would show up with a vehicle in this condition. There was a large dent in the front driver side of the vehicle and the interior was completely warn out. Seats were all shredded and the rest of the interior was really worn and in bad shape. I called to express our disappointment and was told the best they could do was offer 1 free hour. Made me laugh but since we had a timeline we decided to just take the vehicle. It became almost comical when about 10 minutes after driving, smoke started coming from underneath the vehicle and up the sides. I then received a call saying that when we were dropped us off they can switch the vehicle to a nicer one for us. I wasn’t sure if this was a kind gesture to help rectify the situation or because the vehicle was smoking. They did switch the vehicle which was in great condition but the disappointment and hassle already affected our experience. We do this every year since 2015 and have never had a limo show up in this condition. Only reason this is a 2 star was because our driver Noor did an amazing job and sympathized with our situation. In addition, this company was higher priced than some of the others which made it even more disappointing. My suggestion is if you decide to use this company, make sure they send pictures of the vehicle...
Read moreI am so happy to have found this company and their wine tour. I had the fun task of planning my friend’s bachelorette party with 12 girls. I spoke with multiple staff members including Markie throughout the planning process and all of them were so kind and professional. They went above and beyond in giving me options, helping me to understand, and being patient with me while I tried to get answers from my party. Really top notch customer service and professionalism.
On top of that, the prices for transport to Temecula to and from our AirBnb in San Diego were the best I found out of several quotes. The tastings themselves were great and after planning the rest of this party I was so appreciative to just show up and have a good time.
Finally, on the day of, our driver Jim was fantastic. He was communicative before, so kind, professional, timely. He kept us on schedule at our request, showed us the best places to take photos, and kept us safe on the road on a busy holiday weekend despite multiple hazards presenting themselves. All of us agreed that Jim was the day and made an already very fun experience that much better.
All in all, worth more than the 5 stars. No notes. Do yourself a favor...
