A hidden, peaceful gem in Golden Hill and quite possibly one of my favorite parks in San Diego! First off, the view of the downtown city skyline through the trees and flowers is breathtaking! The entire park is well kept and clean. The road surrounding the park is a circular paved path approximately a mile long that is perfect for getting your steps in or taking a quick jog. There are many strategically situated picnic tables and benches for you to enjoy the lovely views! There is ample green grass and lush palm trees if you want to throw a blanket down and get your feet in the grass or hang a hammock and power lounge in shaded bliss. The park squirrels usually put on quite an acrobatic display which is sure to add to your enjoyment! Community events happen regularly here and it is a wonderful place for sports or special gatherings.
