28th Street Playground — Attraction in San Diego

A mom got hit in the face by a golf ball at this play park a couple of weeks back. She was right in the middle of the park (by the purple dinosaur) Super lucky it didn’t hit her eye, or her kid who was just next to her, but her cheek was really, really badly hurt. We submitted a report via the Getitdone app and reported it to the city, but until they sort the fencing (or whatever else they’d need to do) we’re not going to take our kid here until after the golf course closes in the evenings.

I actually just stop check GPS but when my daughter was younger we came here all the time. It's quieter then most, well maintained play equipment, grass is always green and well kept. Only one caution to this park is that green you see behind the play set in photo is Balba golf course and occasionally a rouge ball comes up on the grass around...
