Kim Quang Jewelry — Attraction in San Diego

I was referred to this jeweler by a friend and have been going here for over a year. I love that the employees greet and acknowledge all of their customers timely, and they will offer to clean the jewelry you’ve previously purchased from them. I have always had a pleasant and positive experience with everyone here. They are always so warm and welcoming - Linda is my favorite! 10/10 would recommend to everyone and their great grandmothers!

I originally came in looking for nostalgic pieces I wore when I was child (the traditional seven rings and seven bracelets), and when I get there every time, Linda introduces me to new styles I didn’t even know I needed. I joke around with her saying that my jewelry visits are like Target - go in for one thing and leave with a handful of other things. Linda really pays attention to each customer’s personal taste and gives beautiful recommendations and also honest opinions. I’ve come in for rings, bracelets, necklaces, etc. She will customize pieces to your liking down to the finest details. I love building the personal relationship with her where I don’t feel like just any other customer; she remembers stories and purchase history from her store. I personally love their variety of dainty 18k gold (yellow & white) jewelry.

We had the most amazing intimate experience at Kim Quang Jewelery. This was mine and my now wife’s first time at a jewelry store and Linda and her family made it so comfortable. We were fortunate enough to meet them with our family friend who had been going there for 20 years. Linda treated us like we had been going there for that many years also. We literally went the day before our wedding to get wedding bands. Without Linda’s Eye we would not have been able to find the perfect bands. She after maybe 5 minutes completely understood my wife’s style and helped her pick out the perfect bands. I’ve never seen my wife that happy, like honestly there was no way I could not hand my credit card over. Not only did she help her, but she helped me pick my band out and I’ve never worn any jewelry my entire life. And the way I felt when Linda showed me my band was something I’ve never felt before I was so happy. They even sized and polished all the rings including my wife’s engagement ring right then and there, which probably took 30 minutes. There will be no other jewelry store I’ll ever go to. I discovered Kim Quang on Yelp and decided to stop by after reading all their glowing reviews and I’m so glad I did. I started coming here less than a year ago, and I’ve been consistently impressed with their quality, craftsmanship, and honesty.

My first purchase was a beautiful gold bracelet, sized to fit, well-made, and fairly priced. I loved it so much that I came back for a gold necklace, which they custom-fit and priced by weight. After those first experiences, I knew I could trust them.

I later brought in a family heirloom bracelet that was too big. Not only did they resize it perfectly, they transformed the extra gold links into a pair of stunning earrings. That level of care and attention to detail truly stood out.

Most recently, I returned to have links removed in diamond tennis bracelet and a ring repaired, and once again, the service and results were excellent.
