L H Foot Care （LH Massage） — Attraction in San Diego

Went for a foot massage this evening around 6pm. Owner or whoever worked the front desk. Changed the price from the $24.99 listed online to $40. And said the place listed online was not them although the directions took me to that location and pictures of are of that address listed online. Knowing that the price was probably changed because I was black. I agreed to the massage because I had limited time but I had only brought $40. Because I expected to pay $24.99. I felt I would break the $100 I had with me for a tip if I received good service. I should have left. Because it was one of the dirtiest places I have visited in quite some time and service was poor. Owner tried to demand tip as if it is mandatory. I did not have time to go over the bad service. I really didn't want to embarrass the lady even though she burned my feet and told me "hot water was better". The entire low quality foot rub I received was not worth a tip. I paid my $40 and said there was no money for tip. Because he raised the price anyway. But both he and the lady got mad and began to yell at me. Even though the only thing I did not pay was the tip. As I was leaving, I am pretty sure he called me a bad name..in his language. He said something angrily in his language. Tips are not mandatory. I do not recommend this place to go for a massage. Go to a place where the service is better and cleaner. Black/minority or any one in a non-standard category don't go here at all would be my advice. If I could I would give this place a...

Worst massage ever! I paid extra for additional foot massage and they didn’t even touch my feet AT ALL. I even made sure to ask before paying if the extra time would be on my feet.

From the beginning the lady put me in the room and said face down. Definitely not a place where the workers understand English or much of it.

At the beginning the lady asked medium or hard? I said soft to medium. During the massage I kept telling her softer because it was painful and she continued used to keep at her pace. Worst massage and service I’ve had in Years!!! When she had me turn and face up she started working on my shoulders. Whenever she slid her hands beneath my shoulders she kept pinching my skin between the towel. It was defintiely not relaxing or a massage. It was torture. I now laying in bed after 6 hours of leaving there and in pain. im usually not one to leave reviews but this was so bad I’m leaving them anywhere I can. Groupon kept saying error when I tried to leave a review. It’s no wonder their review if 5 stars, they probably select which reviews can get published. Again...

We’ve been coming here on and off for many years and I’ve honestly had some of the best massages of my life and a couple of the worst massages I’ve ever had. So it’s a little hard to review. My best advice would be to communicate with your therapist. If they smell bad from food or cigarettes, or they are talking to each other, or they are leaving the room a lot, then I’m nor sure what to do about that. I keep giving them additional chances because like I said I’ve had some great massages there too. It’s hard to get a regular massage therapist because the turnover...
