It’s a very nice area to picnic. It’s pretty popular. The tables are in the shade under big trees, so a bit cold. If you want sun you’ll have to sit in the grass. It can get a little busy as it’s very easy to get to, just off the side of the main road. No bathrooms nearby by. You’ll have to walk a bit to find a restroom.

This is a wonderful picnic area. It's in a nice quiet part of the park. It's rarely super busy and there are a lot of hiking trails that can be easily accessed. There are a couple of picnic tables and grills there for public use. You can reserve them through the GG...
