Sunset Music — Local services in San Francisco

I am a piano teacher here in Burlingame and I have been going to Sunset music for many many years and Evelyn is absolutely breathtaking!!

She is incredibly kind and she’s one of the most knowledgeable music resources I’ve ever had. For all the years I’ve shopped at different music stores which are all closed except for Evelyn‘s now, I drive from Burlingame to her as she’s so worth it as the time and effort she put into everything and every question I’ve ever asked her musically for my clients has been always responded to!

I highly recommend her and her store it’s well worth it!!! Let’s bound together and keep this wonderful woman business, in her little store which I dearly love small and quaint but you know full of a wonderful selection of music and she takes the time to answer every question you have trudy me she’ll research everything for you to help you get your needs met.

Great neighborhood music store. Excellent selection of sheet music. They offer music lessons for all ages here. This is not Guitar Center, they don't have walls of electric guitars, etc, only a few student classical guitars, ukuleles, recorders, and the like. But they provide strings for most classical instruments, reeds, violin supplies, guitar picks, tuners, metronomes...the list could go on. I got all the music books for my son's piano classes here when he was attending the SF Conservatory. I am a semi pro musician myself and have gotten plenty of last minute supplies and sheet music here for my own gigs. Staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Evelyn, whom I believe is the owner of the store, is wonderful. She's friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and skilled. The store contains some instruments and a wide variety of musical supplies, gifts, parts, music sheets/books. They also provide lessons and repair services (usually while you wait). Evelyn goes above & beyond expectations when servicing my kid's instruments. It's my go to place for music...
