I checked out this park in 2001 and thought it was nice but didn’t think I would ever return..well I’m glad I decided to revisit it. There is some major renovation of the softball field and playground that looks to be completed by summer 2021. 🤞 Walking thru the park on all the hidden trails will transport you to a eerie and beautiful place. It’s almost always foggy and wet so come prepared. On the few days where there isn’t fog, the views of the Pacific Ocean are inspiring.

A magnificently forested park with incredible vantage of the city, ocean, and surrounding area. Some may claim the trees detract from the view but they truly only add to it. I happened to go on a day of voracious mosquitoes-the reason for deducting 1 star from the rating

Very clean and quiet park with kids playgrounds and walking trails, nice view to the city, artificial turf with mobile restroom and tennis court. high up in the mountains and pls drive safe and expect hills.

I come here fairly often as I live nearby. It's a nice but rather chilly/windy park. There are some incredible views if you walk the loop around the back.

This is a dog park so there are sometimes many dogs roaming around (with their owners, of course). There is also a small playground for little children and two tennis courts (without barriers between them). My one gripe is that the tennis courts seem pretty rundown and are often cluttered with debris (most likely from the many trees nearby).

The park also looks somewhat rundown in areas since it doesn't look like it's been repaved or maintained much. But it's quiet since it's in a relatively remote area.

There are roughly two main lawn areas for play (for humans as well as dogs). One up top beyond the children's playground and another lower down, next to the tennis courts. Parking is relatively easy too since there are often many spots...

Beautifully updated park. Kids playground is one I wish I would've had access to as a child, big open space for field sports, comfortable benches.

Two rather big downsides depending on your point of view: Too many people with unleased dogs in close proximity to small children running (a terrible accident waiting to happen)--additionally on this point dog feces being left in the open grassy area is also a bummer. Many trees were felled to creat this open space, when the sun is out it is inescapable (be sure to...
