One of my favorite spots to stop in San Francisco. Great views if u go to the top. Definitely not for the faint of heart or wobbly kneed. I always see the mosaic steps when I bring someone new to the city for sure. It is in a neighborhood so be mindful of this. It is 164 steps of breathtaking mosaic shaped together to for moonrise and sunset landscapes. If you go late at night can see the moonlight reflect off the breathtaking mosaic and what I would call a true piece of artwork. You can see the view of San Francisco bay and Marina district clearly on the clear day. Upon coming on top of the steps, you can climb up a zigzag stairs up to the top of the hill where the Grand View Park is located. From the Grand View Park you can see everywhere of San Francisco, down town sky line, the Golden Gate park with De Young Museum poking through, the Twin Peaks near by, the Land End etc. It is a very good experience.
