Tucked away just southwest of Golden Gate Bridge is a gem called Lands End Labrynth. In all the time I've lived in northern Cali I never stumbled across this place until now. I stumbled across it while looking for beaches to go to and found one of the most beautiful spots I've seen in the San Fransisco area.

There is a short hike down to the lookout/beach of which it has both. The beach is a epic little sand beach with very little traffic and some of the most beautiful landscapes you get to see from Cali. Right next to that is Lands End and a constructed stone labyrinth. The view from this low cliff looking back at the Golden Gate is surreal. Pictures looked like the backgrounds were paintings.

Worth every second of the visit and short hike. If you are near Golden Gate, take some time and intentionally make this stop. You will...

Nice Lookout spot to see the Golden Gate Bridge and across the water to the lighthouse.

Lots of rocks out there make it not the most convenient fishing spot, be prepared to lose gear if you're fishing here.

The Labyrinth itself comes and goes, and more often than not it is not there.

There is more often a labyrinth built of stone and Driftwood down on the beach below. But it doesn't last long down there with the Tide washing it away and covering it with sand.

In the last few years that I have been coming to this spot I have only seen the Labyrinth once, mostly it is just a cleared Rocky space without much there. It would probably be best not to consider this as a consistent Labyrinth location.

Be ready for a vigorous walk back up the hill, not suitable for those who are not in good...

This has been my favorite place to go hiking. I would start from the sutro baths and go all the way up to lands end. There are little trails going to different areas with a different view which have all been amazing. I have gone during all times of the day and even afternoon and this place is just amazing and a great trail to go hike. You can go off trail as I said and wonder around just remember where you came from. You could walk around the neighborhood once off the trail and find your way to China Beach. It’s just a great place to go hike and plenty of different ways you can go. You could even end up all the way at the Golden Gate bridge. If you're a beginner you can do this just take your time and take breaks if you need to but for sure give this trail a shot because the views are...
