A cool building hidden away. Located on top of a hill near Lands End. There’s a large parking area at the beginning of the trail.Nice spot to admire and look at graffiti. There’s not much else to it.

it started as an Army installation but switched over to a naval special unit which it continued in service till deactivated late 50's early 60's and used for VA Hospital storage as well as an Air Raid Post, then gifted to the SF Rec & Park around mid-late 60's then became part of the GGNRA in the mid 70's. The west entrance road was excavated and connected to the lookout station service...

The view out to the ocean is beautiful. However, the graffiti on the cement structures (which are meant for roller skates) makes us feel unsafe. Free parkings is easy to find. Paid parking is plenty.
