Great products, but staff is not at all helpful nor do they try to be. I went to help desk (no one was there) and waited a while before anyone would even make eye contact with me even though checkers standing around it weren't helping anyone else. Even when I tried to ask a checker close to me she just pointed back at the empty desk. They had 3 people try to help me with my question (do you have fresh duck eggs) and I was told yes but had to flag them back down to ask where, as all I had seen was balut (boiled duck embryo) where the eggs were. Standard Asian market with the regular dependables: meat and fish(they throw live fish in a burlap sack and bludgeon away with their rubber mallet, gives me nightmares), condiments, oodles of noodles, produce, etc. The checkers and their grubby worn latex gloves freak me out! I, too, would protect myself after touching money and dripping meat juice all day. Yicky. Just wish they put in a hot food section. It would make a lot of money.
Overall, it's an easy place to pick up Asian stuffs. Parking...

If you can get over the strong fishy stench you'll then smell many other exotic things like herbs etc. Poke around. You'll find nice imported products. Now that they've been here many years they carry dairy products. Parking is tight and busy and on Vicente St. You must back in at an angle of you get a ticket. Use patience. Walk there if you're in a hurry. Don't expect parking at peak hours. Great product, very good prices. They also carry seasonal items now too...
