Sunset Reservoir Park — Attraction in San Francisco

A neighborhood favorite for strolling and jogging. It is a windswept grassy hill that offers a panoramic view of the city: from ocean beach to the Golden Gate Bridge. There are benches embedded into a stony bulkhead that are fantastic for stretches and warm-ups. On the southeast corner at Quintara St and 24th Avenue is a play structure for the kiddos. Small park built on the hillside corner of Sunset Reservoir (now fenced off as a solar field) with a few paved trails. The views are great on a clear day, you can see both the Ocean Beach and the Golden Gate Bridge. A nice place to bring your kids or dogs for a casual stroll around the neighborhood. Think you can't get a good view of the city in the sunset ? Think again. You can see the golden gate bridge on a clear night (granted that doesn't happen very often there )but there are there is a good view from the upper part of the park.
