Restaurant is filthy inside and out. You can smell the carpet(Gross). paint inside dining room/restaurant has mold and dirt on it. I’m attaching reference pictures to show I’m not exaggerating. Hvac vents have mold growing on it. Cement is dirty outside and stained from dirt. Dining room smells like cleaning solution and dirty laundry. Even the bonsai pond has murky dirty water. The fake tree hasn’t been dusted in clearly 20 years. I had a roll that tasted of expired fish (spicy tuna) Tasted old so I sent It back. The waiter had the audacity to tell us since we ate a few pieces they still have to charge us half of the $14 roll. Like what is even the debate? You are serving old fish. I didn’t like it. So take it off the tab!! It’s unacceptable. I worked in restaurant/hospitality so I can speak from experience. Staff is rude and ignored me when I left And very unapologetic for serving expired food. In conclusion : Restaurant is filthy. No pride in quality. Fish is frozen and very fishy.

I have been here multiple times, usually when I am craving for some sushi or when I am in the area and want to get something different. This place is a plus in the neighborhood, because there are not many sushi spots within the district. The staffs here are very welcoming, well trained and understanding where I never had an issue in any of my visits. Their menu consists of Japanese appetizers, sushi rolls, specialty rolls, sashimi, dinner sets, desserts, etc. For dine in, you can choose booth seating, bar counter or regular table seating. Everything is made to order which is just how I like it and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. I highly recommend this place to all sushi enthusiasts, to anyone looking for a laid back spot or if you just happen to be within the area. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.

Sushi deluxe combo was fine, not the best but not the worst. Problem was fish cake udon. I am a guy who likes to have sushi with good warm udon. But the udon was like the worst udon in my life, I would enjoy cheap grocery store instant udon 100 times better. Noodle was undercooked, soup tasted nothing but water, fish cake was like a freaking rubber. So I asked the server if this was rushed because the cook forgot my order (sushi came out quickly but I had to wait udon for a long time which is not normal since I was pretty much only one in the hall.) And she said that is normal. I was expecting different answer but that answer proves your food is just bad. Delayed food, nothing special sushi. I only gave one more star since sushi was edible at least, not like udon. I barely touched that udon. Shame on you charge money to people on that gabarge.

Not as good as it used to be. The menu and the quality has changed. They removed a lot of things from the menu that used to be on there, prices have gone up, and the quality of the food they make is not as good as it used to be. They must have changed owners or chefs or something. You can't even order like a tempura appetizer here anymore. And they don't offer you ice cream at the end of your meal. The tempura offerings for the dinner combo is half as large as it was. So they charge more money for less food, and lower quality food at that. I ordered a sashimi combo. The portions for the sashimi was pretty decent, but the quality of the fish itself was not as good as it was. The waiter kept forgetting to give us wasabi and other condiments. There wasn't much people here so I don't understand why they couldn't just give it to us right away. Every time I needed something it took maybe 5 to 10 minutes to get the waiters attention, and that time my sake got cold, as well as my food. I think they were prioritizing deliveries instead of people actually eating inside the restaurant. I understand that they need to stay in business but they also need to satisfy their customers eating inside also as those people are their base customers. They really need to hire more people. Either that or make their current staff more efficient. I know a lot of the times they were waiters just standing around doing nothing when they could be peeking into the customer's lounge to see if anybody needed anything. I imagine that they are just minimum wage workers, if they get paid any more than that then the owner is getting ripped off. Parking is horrible in...

My aunt and uncle invited me out to join them for lunch with some of my other relatives. Since they all ordered cooked food, I thought maybe I should be different and order something with raw fish so I got the chirashi.

For the price, the chirashi had a pretty good portion size and variety of seafood. The regular fishes like salmon and tuna were fine. The tuna looked a little washed out, but it still tasted ok. The best part was a plump, shimmering piece of hotate, which was sweet and succulent. Some things could use some improvement though. I think there was a piece of tai that was oddly spongy. Maybe it spent too much time in the freezer. The saba was also pretty rough and chalky, and the rice was too sweet and was covered with some weird pickled vegetables. It was far from perfect, but you can't really expect a place like this to be super stellar.

The hot food seemed to be better than the raw fish. I tried the beef teriyaki, and it wasn't bad. I guess it's hard to go wrong with grilled meat. It had a good sear and was tender enough. They used too much of the generic, sweet teriyaki sauce, but it still tasted ok. Other people seemed to like the tempura and salmon teriyaki entrees as well. This stuff isn't exactly super authentic or special, but they seem to make it better than the other items on the menu.

Noriega Teriyaki is fine as a local place, but I don't think anyone would go out of their way...

Yet another Non Japanese Japanese restaurant in SF. Its name should be "Terrible Teriyaki". There is NOTHING Japanese about this place. From the tacky decorations to everything made in China crap, everything is screaming "Not Japanese". We spend at least a month is Japan ever single year and eat our heart out. Usually we do not eat Japanese food outside Japan because of this kind of fake Japanese restaurants. Our neighbor took us out today and it was her choice. However, she hated her dry Chicken Teriyaki and ate about two pieces. The spicy, grilled squid is "spicy" because there is a blob of Sriracha on the plate. The squid was as tough as tough gets. It was the worst Unagi I ever had. They started with a frozen piece, then added more soy sauce on it. Dumped it on top of a huge amount of rice with about two weeks old piece of tomato and 3 day old piece of citrus of some sort. The "made in China" bowl came with a spoon stuck in the middle of Rice. My husband's rolls were huge and horrible. It was a lot of food and hence they do get business. Clientele was mostly double wide, one table brought their own ketchup bottle (I am NOT kidding), most people were eating with forks and no one was Japanese. I need to...
