I came here yesterday with my friend and let’s just say this was nothing what we expected for $190. We thought it would be a great experience since kim Kadarshian came here. We quickly realize that we might not have gotten the same treatment She did once getting there. It was hard to find the spot because the name of the location is not on top of the building so you have to look for the numbers. We checked in and they asked us if we had to use the restroom before the service, which was nice after that I was taken to go change into a towel and the robe. She then took me to take pictures of my scalp I was so excited to learn what she found, but then realized that there was a language barrier and she couldn’t really explain what was going on. All she could tell me was that my hair was oily and that I had a sensitive scalp. I thought she would explain exactly what she would do to help me with that situation, but realized that she couldn’t really explain again because of the language barrier. She then took me to the room and asked me to sit in a massage chair. The chair wasn’t comfortable at all. She told me to put my arms into the chair arms. Then she started the treatment. I don’t like when people talk to me during a massage, but I would have loved for her to explain what product she was putting in my hair. During the massage, she turned on the massage chair, and I realized that the chair was actually hurting me more than relaxing me the arm part squeezes your arm, so it was painful. I felt like the scalp massage was so fast not a 95 min like they advertised. After this massage, they picked me up and told me to go back to where we took the pictures for my scalp. She was then putting oils in my scalp that she didn’t explain at all and was using tools that had just been laying around. She also would get the tools stuck to my hair and would pull it. She then put a towel on my back and started what they claim is a massage but it was more like them beating me. I tried moving forward to show my discomfort but she would pull me back and massage roughly. She then asked how I wanted my hair blow dried either straight or natural. I have wavy hair so I asked if I could have it straightened and when she was done my hair wasn’t full dry 1 and 2 it was more frizzy then straight. She was also combing my hair with a brush that wasn’t clean at all. Once we got out my friend and I talked about how our shoulders were in pain but thought nothing of it. But once we got home we checked each others backs and both had red marks on our back where are were supposedly massaged. We were disappointed and upset we tried calling to let the place know, but got no answer. It was even hard for us to lay on our backs to sleep. The next morning we checked our backs again and realized we got bruisings. We called again this morning 4 different times and still no response. I truthfully don’t recommend this place at all. I bet you could get a better experience at a different spot of so much...
Read moreSaw an advertisement on social media and this salon looked amazing, had to try it. I had never done anything like this before. Took about 6 weeks to get an appointment. Getting married soon so thought this would be the perfect thing to help me get ready for my big day. Read lots of reviews before booking my appointment. Had some hesitation but figured I'll take a chance. Paid the $20 deposit fee to get my appointment. There was plenty of parking in the plaza. The salon is upstairs. I was greeted as soon as I came in. I decided to book the 90 minute $138.00 luxury scalp spa. I made sure to ask for someone that spoke fluent English in case I had questions. I wanted someone to guide me through the process and tell me what they were going to do. She had no problem with that. I also made sure they were going to take before and after pictures which I added in my review, because in some of the reviews they said they never took after pictures. She said "oh yes, they will take after pictures". They have you put on a robe and a wraparound towel before starting the treatment. They have you sit in the salon chair and use the magnification machine to take a look at your hair follicles close up first and then they place you in the large massage chair where they wash and treat your scalp. They start off with aromatherapy and massage. The chair was amazing it wasn't too rough at all. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it massaged every part of my body on my backside. She went through all of the treatments and hair washing and massaging and it was truly wonderful. She was very pleasant and sweet. Very patient with all of my questions. I would highly recommend this treatment, especially for a special occasion. It was truly wonderful and relaxing and to me worth every single penny. I will definitely be back! I tipped...
Read moreI knew this probably wasn’t a legit service but still wanted to satisfy the curiosity when I booked my appointment. Even for just the sake of relaxing and having someone play with my hair. The experience boils down to a glorified hair wash. The lady showed me my hair with the camera in 3 sections and I actually have a normal scalp even with 3 day hold hair, just oily thought I deducted that, she didn’t speak much English and nothing was explained during the process. The hair wash was about 30 min and was exactly what people mentioned, someone scratching your scalp. There is no skilled massage. I had to ask for her to soften her touch because it was borderline painful. She said I had really oily hair. The products used were not discussed and when I looked at them, they were average products not American brands; no top brand products. The different procedures, the brushing of the hair felt the same as the intense scrubbing, the wands, red light, and other things put in scalp took about 1-2 min if that and all seemed gimicky. The hair drying was done in a manner that shows the technicians don’t know how to deal with hair, the hair wash was evident as well. There’s no styling or the hair. I left a tip because at least the shoulder massage felt ok. For $168 plus the 3% fee with card plus the tip, I recommend you pay your boyfriend to play with your hair. I promise this isn’t what you are expecting if you simply wanted someone to relax your with head rubs. I would...
