Cash 4 Cans Recycling Center — Local services in San Jacinto

This place doesn’t deserve a rating. So the first picture is how it started cleaning the backyard. It took two days to get it down to this btw. Wednesday night 9/18/2024 i finished. Thursday 19 September 2024 now have to load 30 bags of recycling. Ok we arrive at cash for cans in San Jacinto and from the moment we pulled up they started in on us. Two employees approached as we parked to “help us since it’s approaching closing time” remind you we got there at 3:50 pm not even close to quitting time. But there was no other customers at that time and i think they wanted to close and clean early to get off at the earliest time possible. The bed of the truck was loaded down with recyclables as well as the back of the cab, so there all of a sudden wasnt going to be any early departure. Then others followed in. They came and left and here we are still sorting through our items. There weren’t even any garbage can’s available so we could maintain our area. We finished around 435pm got instant attitude as we approached with our items. My partner was busy cleaning up our mess then came over to ask where the dumpster was . Had a pail full of all kinds of trash and wastold the garbage can was full and that we would have to take our trash with us. Ive been recycling for years and have also been an employee of nexcycle a recycling company for about a year and in all my years have never heard anyone say to me to take our trash with us. I asked him if he thought our truck looked like a garbage truck. He grabbed the sign saying he has the right to refuse service to anyone sign. I told him i was going to write a review so here it is. Treated horribly because these kids just wanna go home to video games. I cant begin to tell you sorting through all this stuff loading and reloading for now the 3rd time. I gave them two stars because the staff is always polite and helpful to a point. Today I confirmed that they rip me off. I’ve been coming here for about two and a half years. I have some barreIs I fill at home and they fill up every three months, so I would be here every three months with pretty much the same amount every three months. They used to pay me pretty good like about $60-$65 the first couple of times. Then I brought a little more because I went almost 4 months without coming and I got $72!! I was so happy with this place. Then for the last year they started giving me $58, then $54 then $48 the last time I came and they swear that it’s because I’m bringing less. Well today I brought the most I’ve ever brought!! It’s almost 6 months worth of cans and plastic bottles, way more than the time I got the $72 for. Well I only got $69.05. Again that time I got the $72 was for three months worth of cans and bottles, same barrels I use all the time, smashed up like I always do, but this time I had to buy an extra barrels to continue saving my bags and bottles thinking I should get double since I saved for double the time. But that wasn’t the case. It’s sad that they do this to customers. At least be straight up and say hey were paying Less because were in a crisis or whatever the situation is. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!! It says on their adds and even out in front of the center that they CLOSE at 3pm on Saturdays, so I loaded the car to the max and got there at exactly 1:30pm and the gates were closed with people waiting out front wondering what was going on. There were employees talking inside as we yelled to ask if they were open as they ignored us and closed the doors!! They need to update their times on everything...their advertisements, website, etc. I could of went somewhere else but now everything is going to close soon! What a waste of gas and time 4shO thO!
