Taqueria los 2 plebes — Restaurant in San Jacinto

Went in because my girlfriend wanted some pozole, and I didn't know where to grab some that was close by. Called Los 2 Plebes, and they had some fresh to order. When I arrived, the young lady greeted me and knew who I was because I had called earlier. After I ordered, and as I was waiting, she came to me with a small cup of frijoles charros. They were so delicious and took me straight back to when I was young and my mother used to make them for me. When I got home, the pozole was piping hot. It had all the fixings with onion, cabbage, limes, radishes, and hard shell corn tortillas. The beef was absolutely tender, and the soup was savory and delicious. What a wonderful and unique menu. It's delightful to have a taqueria with options that differ from most of the local shops. Everything we tasted was delicious. The spicy ham and bean soup given to diners as they waited for their orders was so good! I had the caldo de res which was deeply flavorful, loaded with squash, potatoes, carrots, corn on the cob and tender beef. My husband had the Hawaiian torta--crusty bread filled with ham and pineapple. The perfectly crafted handmade tortillas were thin on the edges and soft and thick in the center. Can't wait to return and try the ribs in verde sauce, pozole, vampiros, and suadero tacos...

I have eaten here once spontaneously and then return as a destination to eat. The food was consistently excellent, clean and well prepared. They just opened and slowly adding to the ambiance daily. Oh by the way, the posole is phenomenal as well as the special when they run chicken mole and various other menu items (tasted my friends food as well). They also have fresh tortillas which I love, great job keep up the good work, and I will return. Excellent spot to stop at to and from Soboba casino.
