They get 1 star only because 0 is not an option. My experience with the blossom hill location this week: wife goes to abc tree farm, picks out and pays for a tree. We get our tree flocked. In previous years, this process has taken a few hours and trees can generally be picked up same day if ordered early enough. They told my wife it would take 24 hours. So when she came back the next day, it was a bit of a surprise to find our tree still on the ground, untouched. They told her that it takes 2 days. That’s odd, considering more than 24 hours later the tree was still untouched. At this point I should have just taken all my money back and went anywhere else. Sadly, I let the woman at abc tree farm convince me that she wanted to make me happy, and would do the flocking at no charge. The next day, we get our tree, and a refund for the flocking, and as soon as we get it home can tell that it’s incredibly crooked. I do not know how they could have not noticed this at the good old farm, as the flocking process requires them to mount the tree and have it standing in front of them. Maybe they are that bad at there job, that this was considered acceptable work. Maybe they were spiteful that I complained about the length of the service after we were told 2 different times. The outcome was a tree that fell over a few days later when adding water. Broken ornaments, water all over the living room, and a flocking mess anywhere. I’m surprised I got a call back when I left a message, but I did not get a direct number to call them back and still just get voicemail when trying to reach them. They claim they want to “fix the situation” but so far have done nothing more than say that in a voicemail to me while I was at work. I would recommend getting your tree...
Read moreTerrible experience. If I could they would get a zero. . I won a Christmas Tree from IHeart Radio for this Christmas. I visited the Blossom Hill Location because their website says that they take American Express, which is how the tree gets paid for by the radio station. There are also signs at the location that says that they accept American Express along with other major credit card companies. The lady at the pay counter did.l not know how to run the card . She tried and could not get it to work. She told me I could pay cash. I had to use my cash that I had on me that I had for other things I had planned for the weekend and they had already cut the broom of the tree and added the bowl, so I was stuck paying with my own money. This was was on Saturday, December 9. I contacted ABC Tree Farms and never heard a word. I guess they don’t care as long as they get their money. It definitely was the last time I will ever go there, because they don’t even respond to their supposed contact link on their website. The card was good, I called and it had the full value, just inept employees who don’t know what to do or don’t want to deal with cards as...
Read moreI wish I had read Mr. Doestch's review. Our experience was the same. We purchased the tree and paid for flocking and delivery/set up. Well, delayed delivery, lack of communication....could have lived with that.....but...once the tree was delivered and set up by them it was obviously crooked. Of course it crashed over! 10 feet of tree crashed, smashing a 25 year collection of Christopher Radko ornaments. Owner's response- that has never happened before! Wish I had read the reviews! Finally, they refunded our money, but... they took the tree back. I hope it is not back for sale. Why did it crash? The stand was slightly off, too flimsy for the weight of the tree, water bowl was just a little off , all of this combined to create a dangerous situation. If you buy a tree here ,...
