C2 Education of Cupertino — Attraction in San Jose

Worst experience ever! Be aware if you consider to buy packages in C2 Cupertino. My experience was C2 Cupertino told me they had promotion packages that the purchased sessions will never be expired, so I purchased 200 hours and never used it until when I called them this July , they just told me that my whole 200 hours:$10k sessions will be expired THIS October and they only refund 70% of my tuition. Please be aware of this gimmick.

Do not send kids to this scam place, the counselor showed he didn't care about the kid, showed indifferent and condescending attitude and no passion during the counseling. I felt discouraged for my son by this counselor’s discouraging attitude and can’t believe the way he treated my son during the counseling session. When I tried to schedule a session with the only most helpful tutor, Brian , it's always hard to get in the session and the scheduler sometimes even yelled at me over the phone. They just wanted your money with your credit card number over the phone without explaining the contract thing in the beginning and just said it’s promised the hours will never be expired. Now they told me our all 200 hours will be expired by oct 14 this year and I have to provide my personal information like address, bank account by Oct 14 in order not to get rejected. Tutor Quality is inconsistent. Some are ok and some are really bad. save your money. They overcharge for tutoring and I hear they also pay their tutors one of the lowest/lower rates in this area. Maybe, that explains why my kid was placed with one tutor - who just told stories the whole time and never taught him or helped him with academic work, several years back. I requested to change tutors- had to talk to assistant director I think, Miko, I think was her name. But I felt she didn't really take me seriously - nor did she say she was going to do anything further like talk to him about his performance or was surprised or said this isn't acceptable..... She did as I requested, but my son says that horrible tutor was still there when he was switched to another tutor for months... Since we weren't able to get a refund I had my son continue to go there for several months after, hoping the other tutor would be better. The tutor was better, but not great. We bought a big package almost 3 years ago. Because we moved to south San Jose. We seldom use any hours. Until we found out my boy could use these hours for his SAT preparation. We start coming to C2 Cupertino one class every Saturday. While waiting kid, I met a friend W. there. She told me how benefits her daughter get from C2 and also recommend Ethan Coate as counselor. Because our C2 counselor left, I request to switch to Ethan. First time we met Ethan, he told my boy the truth his situation is in now. Truth always is painful. After telling truth, Ethan start to encourage my boy and offer how C2 can help to utilize ours hours. My boy surprisely agreed to follow Ethan’s recommendations. He started 3 classes per weeks.
