3 stars for the massage. 1 star for what happened after. I’ll be nice and offer two stars in aggregate. Won’t be coming back though.

We went for a couples massage and had a decent massage. My therapist was not as well trained as previous sessions and massage was more brute force and movement rather than understanding where the pressure points are. Think vaguely pushing your muscles from the top rather than getting fingers into the crevices to release tension.

We usually tip $20 at the end but this time I happened to have exactly $17 of cash on me. I almost never have cash so I gave them this, as this place charges you $2 fee to use a credit card - in fact they charge you the fee twice! Once at the start when you pay the full price and then charge you a fee again if you use card to pay the tip. Nickel and dime at its finest. Literally got to pay a fee to pay a tip over a price that I already pay (which also incurred a fee to pay).

So anyway, back to the cash situation. The therapist and front desk pushed the cash back at me and demanded $20 minimum per person. So a $40 tip for a $180 session that wasn’t amazing. I wasn’t enthused by how the tip is mandatory. Tip should be based on service quality. It wasn’t great service but thought I would be polite. But apparently not enough for these folks.

If they want a mandatory tip, they should increase the prices and pay the staff more. This tipping culture is getting out of hand and basically bait and switch with lower prices at the door.

I offered my cash again as I was getting annoyed they keep demanding more money. They didn’t take it and kept demanding more. So I walked. $0 tip it is then. They chose that. Not me. We bought ourselves a quick lunch with the $17 at the Whole Foods down the street. It...

hate to give bad reviews but this place didn't leave me any options especially when I told them about the situation and they tried to convince me that I don't understand. I Have been to this place 4 times so far including today February 6 2020. Last 3 massages were with LISA. Every single time for the last 3 times she left me in the middle of massaging my back and left outside to talk on the phone or take care of a customer. First time she even answered her phone in the room and talked for a few seconds then said sorry and stepped outside. When she came back she explained that there was a misunderstanding about an appointment which I totally understood. Second time, which was last week, the same thing happened and then today again she left me half uncovered to take care of the front desk for about 5 minutes. When she came back she explained again and said sorry I had to take care of the front desk. I was so mad at that point I told her that I am not happy about this. I told her that you have done this 3 times so far when i had an appointment with you.I pay $55 for 70 min massage. I also pay more than %40 tip every time to get a decent customer service. The result was hearing another I am sorry and cutting 10 minutes of my massage time. At that point I didn't care anymore I was so upset that I was just trying to get out of there. While I was leaving Someone at the front desk stopped me and asked me why I was upset and not leaving any tip then I told her a short version of what happened. She goes "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND" she went to get Towels. Are you kidding me!!! you guys are running a "spa" with a worse quality and customer service and I am the one who didn't understand the difference...

DO NOT GO HERE My masseuse was ok but didn’t speak a word of english which is no problem, in the middle of a massage she walked away and I was like am I supposed to leave? What’s happening then came back after a couple of minutes. the place is so gross, they charge you prior to going in so you don’t know what you’re dealing with but I’m so disgusted and congested from all the dust and mold and everything that was in it. I am about to take a Clorox shower I’m so grossed out. Didn’t even ask me which part I need them to focus on. People seem to be so cold, rude and constantly speaking another language. The place smelled so freaking bad, didn’t even feel like you were in a massage place, toilet smells better than this place. Look at that carpet! Gross and what’s up with them fingering your ears. Never had that massage done I hope I don’t get an ear infection. Close your spa this should be illegal. Change your carpet and use good smelly oils not a vegetable oil....
