Recommend Lake Cunningham Regional Park. The park is large and has several parking lots. Next to the parking lot is the restroom, a large lake, and a large bike track area (several tracks with different levels). It's easy for consuming time here with kids. You need to buy a ticket for Lake Cunningham Action Sports Park. Just Google it and there is a parking lot next to it. You pay $6 for parking on the self-pay machine. Bike track day pass $10/day, fill out the form first and then go to the room to pay. Behind the registrar, you can enter the three tracks of the mound site (beginner, intermediate, and professional tracks). Follow the road in front of the pergola and you will reach the concrete track for bicycles and scooters.
Lake Cunningham Regional Park is quite big. You can walk around the lake for an hour and have fun. There are geese, ducks, seagulls, and turtles in the lake. If you follow the path around the lake, you can see turtles swimming in the water and basking in the sun on the shore. These turtles have very sharp ears. They either dive or jump into the water when they hear any sound. There are tables and chairs to rest during a walk in the park, which is very convenient. In one area, a small "artificial lake" was naturally formed due to stagnant water, and the tables and chairs immersed in the water became a beautiful scenery. This area is next to the playground. Get some sunscreen, prepare enough water, and bring your bicycle and equipment, you can spend most of...
Read moreThis Lake Cunningham Park is definitely a Hidden Gem!! It is absolutely one of my favorite place to go to in the San Jose Bay Area. I have been coming here too many times. I always enjoy it everytime! This park is located right next to the popular Water Park, Raging Water which is one of the best attractions spot for many Visitors, especially during the Summer. I often takes my dog here for our nice morning walks, where it's Beautiful, Peaceful, and Quiet. Weekdays definitely much better than in the weekend! Less people, not too busy unlike on the weekend it can be very crowded. There are many different kind of Birds, Ducks, Snakes, and Turtles here as well. Love the beautiful surrounding Trees, Flowers, Plants, the many Seating areas for BBQ or Picnics, and the Gorgeous views overlooking the lake. My dog and I absolutely enjoy walking around this entire park! The Gorgeous Sunshines brings me lots of Joy and excitement here. Definitely a quick getaway place from the city, if you wants a nice breath...
Read moreWe visited Raging Waters. The cleaning of the bathroom were on point. Overall My family had a good time playing in the water. The food quality is poor. The prices for the food are ridiculously high. The presentation of the food is poor. I completely understand it's a water park. If you sit your food down here comes these big seagulls..why not have containers that close?Sodas was flat. Lines were long and park employees didn't look happy. Many of the employees I encountered seemed to be surprised at someone being polite or saying hello. The employees looked miserable. Attitudes and all. Why isn't there a mobile food ordering process..maybe I missed it? Since you cannot bring in food..on our next visit..we will eat a good breakfast, buy only snacks and eat after the park. Even the teens I had with me, refused to buy the expensive food. How is this family friendly?Make this...
