Lost my auxiliary adapter (that came with the phone) for my iPhone 8 and wanted to get a replacement. Wandered into iPod place and asked the young lady if they carried them. She said the closest thing she had was an adapter/charger option, but it would work. I bought it. $20. Took it out to the car, excited to hear my iTunes playlists - and nothing. I was too lazy to head back into the mall at that point, so I just tucked the receipt and the useless product neatly back in the box. Went back in today, two days later. Walked in and spoke to who seemed to be the owner/manager, explained that it didn’t work, especially for my purposes (just wanted to hear music). He pointed to a small sign on the side of the register, up a few feet, that read “No refunds/No exchanges”. Couldn’t believe it. Didn’t catch it when I was there, and it wasn’t on the receipt. Is that even legal? Hmm. Anyway, I ended up taking the Apple adapter they were selling for $20 in exchange for the one I didn’t need - even though I don’t need it. Maybe at some point I will. But I could’ve got 2 for that...
