I'm honestly shocked at how bad the service was at this chipotle. I've had bad service at chipotle's in the past, but this one tops it. The workers are very, very stingy. I wanted steak, but they insisted that I get chicken because they had no steak at the moment so I just settled for the brisket because it is beef as well. Yuck ! it was very, very very burnt. And right when I was paying the steak comes out! It was annoying because before I even said what protein I wanted, the worker was saying "chicken?" ... dont order for me.... he did this to my two little siblings and my boyfriend too. One of the other workers kept knocking things over that was helping us check out. Save your time and go to a different chipotle. Waste of my time and money. Also very rude. They Did not smile at all. The first worker that helped was a little older was nonverbal and I don't think he was special or anything, just rude. The name on my receipt said Andrea, but no women helped me so I don't know what their names were. But one of them was heavyset one was a little older man, and one had a beard and I think glasses, he was the worst one. Ambience was terrible. It was so dirty. It was like they were putting invisible scoops in my bowl. And for my boyfriend's quesadilla, the sides were barely filled. and it was almost $20. And the quesadilla was a mess , and only used one tortilla and very scarce with the meat and cheese . That meal wouldn't have even satisfied a child yet alone my...
Read moreJust returned from picking up an order at Chipotle and had one of the worst and rudest experience in any restaurant so far. Calling Jackson rude would be an insult to the average rude person.
We pre-ordered and there was a number of bags standing behind the cash register. I stepped a little closer trying to read the names as I was ignored by the cashier. Unfortunately I "violated the holy grounds of cashierhood" without noticing it (different color tiles on the floor as it turned out) and I stepped on the wrong side with half a foot length. Now I had Jackson's attention. He screamed at me "Sir you have to step back" I had no idea what he was talking about. I tried asking whether my order is ready, triggering him to step right in front of me about 2 feet away, CLEARLY VIOLATING the 6 foot rule himself and yelling at me I had to step back. After stepping back 8 inches, I was allowed to ask for my order, which had been standing there as I thought it would. I asked for his name and he first refused to tell me, only after I took a picture, he said his name was Jackson, no idea if this is correct. It all comes down to being treated like a trespasser, being approached to a distance of 2 feet and being yelled at. The food was OK, far from great but not bad (2-3 stars at best). Customer experience was -1 star).
As a side note, my average rating of businesses is between 3...
Read moreThis place is hit or miss, and today it’s a miss. Went in and the store wasn’t busy. The staff looked miserable. No one smiling. I ordered a burrito, and let’s just say that I’ve had bigger and better burritos from Taco Bell. The rice looked like porridge so I only got a little bit, but now I’m wishing I didn’t get any. The steak that I ordered was non-existent. Not even a full scoop. The girl who fixed my burrito was new, and needs more training on how to fold a burrito because everything spilled out when I unwrapped the foil. The cashier gave me a free ranch adobo to try which was nice since I clearly wasn’t happy with my burrito. Was debating if I should just leave instead of paying $20 bucks for a burrito, large chips and guacamole, but I didn’t want to waste the food so I bought it. Then the cashier said “that’s the right portion size for all their burritos and bowls.” I wanted to test that statement, and went back in line for a burrito bowl to see if the portions were the same. I got way more food in my bowl. I think the girl was nervous to wrap a big burrito and that’s why my burrito was so small. I don’t go to the Chipotle in Valley Fair mall anymore because they never give full scoops on anything, and they argue with the customers that they’ll charge them if they ask for more. I’ll give this place another shot, and maybe just stick to a...
