I bought a promo milk tea. After placing our order, when we requested to have it made without ice, we were refused. The staff insisted that they couldn’t make it without ice and it was because of their promotion code. It’s an uncomfortable experience cuz nobody informed us that the promo drink would have ice, and the description on the page didn’t mention it either. I guess that ice can make the drink appear larger, thus reducing the amount of milk and tea and cutting costs. However, we didn’t ask for a full cup of milk tea; we simply wanted it without ice. Essentially, if the drink is 60% milk tea and 40% ice, you could just give us 60% of the drink without ice. In the end, we had to take the iced milk tea home and heat it up before drinking. I believe the code they followed is very uncustomer-friendly. Promotions are supposed to attract and serve customers, but in this case, it has led to the loss of a regular customer who frequently...
