Burrito Factory — Restaurant in San Jose

My husband and I would come here a few times and the food was great except for the last 2 times. The very last time was last night. The server and cashier Margarita seemed irritated once we got to the front to order. Yawning and rolling her eyes and such but I just assumed she had a long day. We ordered I paid with card and put ($0 for tip since I usually give cash) sat down and waited for our food. The steak on my enchilada suiza plate smelled and tasted bad so I left it, my husband and our 2 friends ordered regular negra micheladas with shrimp and a shrimp cocktail. The shrimp unfortunatley smelled and tasted as fishy as the last time we came and it upset their appetites. Mind you They received their micheladas but they were Mega not regular so much bigger than expected with the wrong beer plus it was warm. We ate what we could stomach and left the rest. I didnt leave a tip because service was terrible on all ends. Now this lady didnt do much of anything as a server and me being a former server theres a lot that comes with customer service which Margarita doesnt seem to ever have when we come in. She is always irritable looking and doesnt care too much for what she does and it shows in her work ethic. Now the last straw was that in the morning I woke up and checked my account and instead of $58.50 she gave herself a 20% tip =$11.70 after I knew I wrote 0 in the tip section so total was $70.20. I called to speak with a manager but he isnt in till 2pm so I will be calling back. Unfortunately we probably wont be returning to...

If I could give negative I would. I've lived in the are for 10 yr and have been going there since I moved to the area. The food is ok. But the customer service is for the negative ratings. A few days a go I went in for take out. The big lady took 3 phone calls while I was waiting there for her to take my order. I ordered 3 crunchy tacos because I dont eat meat and got my husband soft tacos. The lady in the kitchen asked the back for my crunchy tacos to be made 3 times and wasn't getting anything back. 5 people behind me got their orders to eat there. One was a family of 4...all while my husband tacos sat there getting cold. I asked how much longer her and the big lady said because my tacos took longer. I didn't say anything and kept waiting. I almost wanted to walk out. After she gave me my order I told her that since she took my order she should have told the back that she needed my tacos made and that the back had ignored the kitchen ladies request. She then laughed at my suggestion. It took every inch of me not to flip out. I just walked away. To be honest with you i have no idea why i keep going there.. there have been many times where my order is completely wrong or they take a really long time for my veggie tacos. A little after nine at night I stopped in on the one located at Blossom Hill Road by Kaiser hospital. it was Friday night. They had a woman singing loudly as you enter the door could not hear yourself or anybody else terrible singing with a guitar. it look like a hang out more than a family atmosphere. I had my kids wait in the car while I paid 60 cents extra for carne asada burrito which was small and nothing to brag about. The guy showed me, after I paid, at the very bottom in small print, carne asada is extra, everything else is the same price, no surcharge on any other meat, which I've never seen this at any restaurant ever. I will never go back to burrito factory. I even asked if the chips were free and they want to charge for those as well where most places tend to just give them to you. Very small burrito 46 49 + $0.60 surcharge I was still hungry after I finished it. the meat was ok but nothing special at all. the atmosphere was terrible . too many other places are far superior don't know how that one really stays in business I guess it gets supported by...
