I have to say I am extremely disappointed with Mercedes-Benz of San Juan! Bad Service Advisors and Sneaky, and they will try to make you buy things from them CAREFUL!
As we were coming back from a camping trip, we got stranded about 35 miles out from our home. At the beginning, everything seemed to be going smoothly. Mercedes-Benz sent the wrecker for our vehicle, and we were taken home. The following day, we were notified that they had received our vehicle and were going to send all the information to Alpha Warranty for our tire issue. They mentioned the inspection would be done that same day, and two recalls were needed. As the day went by, we were waiting for the call at the end of the day. We finally received a call from a very unprofessional and sneaky agent from Mercedes-Benz stating that they had already put in the claim and that pictures of our tire had been submitted. According to the service advisor, the tire had not been approved because it was wear and tear due to no alignment being done, which was causing the back tires to wear out. I told her I would check with my insurance and see why they didn't want to cover it, and when I called, they told me NO ONE HAD SENT PICTURES! The service advisor, Pricilla Flores, decided to send the pictures after she had submitted a claim and it was denied, and then she sent lots of pictures, and it was showing it was a wear and tear since she had suggested the same thing to the insurance agency, as if she worked for them. We went in and spoke with the service manager, and he mentioned it was due to an unalignment and mentioned it had nothing to do with the miles it had, but it was due to services not being performed correctly. When we told him our vehicle was a lease and that we would take it every 12,000 miles, and not once have we been told or suggested that they need an alignment or rotation, especially if the damage is in the inner zone of the tire. The service manager said himself and I quote SINCE IT'S AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE THEY ONLY CHECK AIR FILTER, COOLANT AND FLUIDS. This means that Mercedes-Benz does not seem to care about their customers and they don't check your vehicle carefully or suggest anything to you because checking tire pressure only is something that my vehicle will advise me on its own, so be careful when you purchase insurance through them cause they don't tell you what they cover or check your vehicle. I believed they would inspect your vehicle and at least tell you what was recommended for your vehicle, even Wal-Mart's Auto department tells you what is recommended for your tires while doing an oil change. Then, I took the tire because I had to pay for the tire out of my pocket, and the service agent told me I couldn't use the tire I took because it was bad. She was insisting that she could order me her 350.00 tire and wanted me to order it, and I told her I knew that tire was good and I was not going to buy the tire from her, and then she finally came back and said she was going to use the tire that I had taken. Later on, I called to see if my vehicle was ready, and they said they still needed to perform updates on the recalls, when I had been told they had done them since I first took my vehicle. I was very disappointed with even the service given from Mrs. Priscilla Flores and the Service Manager Juan Hernandez because even after he knew that we had a issue with the service advisor he continue to let her work in our vehicle and services he didn't seem to care or take the time to make us feel comfortable with the whole...
Read moreWell I sold my 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 to a friend to help him out. Problem was I loved my truck. I really loved my truck and it was great. I started To do more research and look for another vehicle. I have CARFAX so I started to do a little bit of investigating which would be the best vehicle I can find. I saw one similar to mine except it was a 2017 which is a very good year for Dodge Ram. The vehicle that I saw and wanted was at Mercedes-Benz in San Juan. I got connected to a gentleman by the name of Joe Trevino who is one of the salesman. I got there he was busy we went outside play with our dog went to look at the truck and pretty much knew this is the truck we were going to take. Joe came out and met us and we went for a test drive. Our service dog jewel decided it was her truck too because she jumped in the backseat and knew exactly her place. It was smooth it ran well I was super happy and it was so amazing. Very good condition very well-maintained by whoever owned it before. Joe did a very good job of taking care of us. Also the financing gentleman which I’m sorry I don’t remember his name did a great job. Joe thank you so much for everything. That was probably my best experience since buying my Dodge in 2013 at another dealership where I was treated very poorly after the truck was purchased. I’m hoping if I have any issues with it I can talk to you guys and you can talk me through whatever needs to be taken care of. Joe Treviño is the gentleman that you need to go see with regards to a purchase he’s kind he’s gentle and I got very good vibes off of him. And this is my new truck and I love it and as soon as my husband gets back from his long distance truck run we’re going to go camping again. Thank you for this wonderful vehicle I am very happy with it and I am more than happy with the service that I got when I purchased it thank you so much from the bottom of my heart I’ll see you again when it’s time for my next vehicle ♥️
Update: well, two years ago, I was driving from Texas with my new truck all the way to Washington state, and the moment I got on the road I could hear a hissing noise so I pull over pop the hood, and the hissing was from exhaust manifold bolts which were broken when I asked about a warranty it was a brush off just make sure you know everything about the sale and your warranty because I’ve spent over $6000 fixing this truck.
When I called the dealership about a warranty I got basically the brush off. Like it was a joke and it really pissed me off. The truck was a 2017 Dodge ram I bought it in December 2021. When I asked them to bring the price down, they took out a piece of paper and said we did all this work and it said $3500 for painting and I couldn’t figure out where unless they just did touchups cause that’s pretty much all it was. Anyway, moving right along, heading up to Houston to buy another vehicle. Definitely lessons learned.
At this point Mercedes – Benz of San Juan gets a three star until I...
Read moreI am EXTREMELY disappointed and angry with the service that was provided to me on Monday. I have been interested and excited in buying my first vehicle, 5 months after starting my new RN job at the ER. As a 23 year old I want to go through the process in a calmly manner and not feel rushed through it since it would be my first purchase. Brandon, a sales associate there at Mercedes in San Juan had been helping me out 5 months ago and I told him I would wait until I save up a good amount of money and I would get back to him when I felt comfortable financially. A few days ago I went back to find out the car I wanted had been sold but Brandon told me they were getting another one exactly like it in a couple weeks. So when the car arrived on Monday he sent me pictures of the car through text message and quote, “Aaron .... What’s your schedule like ...Help me out this month buddy. Today or tomorrow ...I’ll wait if I have to .....“. When I explained to him that my next day off would be Wednesday, he kept asking and pressuring me to go before Wednesday telling me it wouldn’t take that long. Keep in mind Wednesday would be the 1st of the month. I explained to him that I wanted to go through the whole process in a calmly manner and not feel rushed through the whole situation and that Wednesday would be the BEST day for ME and not feel worried about having to work a 12 hour shift the same day. He replied, “Rushed? Wow. Ok. Sorry if I’d made you feel Rushed ...I was just trying to see if you could help me out for the month.” When I tried replying to him to explain why I wouldn’t be able to go before Wednesday, I found out he had blocked my number from his phone and I was not able to contact him about the vehicle. I was not rude nor was I giving him any type of attitude to get BLOCKED by a Mercedes Benz “Certified Sales Professional”. VERY unprofessional service that was provided from a company that I thought would have the best service available for their customers. I am NOT here to help you meet your end of the month quota! I’m not here to do YOU a favor. I thought I was the customer here. I’m here to buy my first vehicle and feel comfortable buying it throughout the...
