San Juan Basilica Gift Shop — Attraction in San Juan

The gift shop is just amazing! You can spend hours browsing around looking and trying to decide what souvenirs to buy or even which books to read. We stopped to buy candles because the gift shop inside the shrine is not always open . To tell you the truth we ended up with more than candles, but that's okay. Everyone working there is so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend you do not bring children in as there are many breakable items on display ( you break you pay). My wife &I have been coming here for years.today was a sorry experience. the gift shop was opened but they failed to tell us that the church was not opened.if the church is closed til Monday so should the shop.we know its all for the church but come on they could have been a little courteous and let us know.we drove two n a half hrs n another couple drove almost four hrs for nothing.we feel for the handicap n sick. people that weren't told the church was closed.that's pretty sorry from...
