I’ll start by saying that, I have been to a few different gyms over the years in the east bay. I have never been able to connect with a personal trainer because I always felt like I was just a number or a client lost among many, which in turn never motivated me to stick it out. Finding GFF has been god sent! I started on 3/5/19 with Don’s Nutritional Guidance Program and within 8 month I have lost 52 pounds. He is extremely pro-active with coaching me throughout and holding me accountable on a daily basis. His program is seamless and thorough and he is always available for questions and guidance. I started with his 1 on 1 training and for the first time ever I didn’t want to quit and I didn’t give up! I’m an exercise induced asthmatic so he made sure before we started that I had my inhaler handy and ready to go. He was patient with me while I learned the workouts and was thorough with his explanations of what I needed to do. He didn’t kill me in the process which was a relief! This gym is without question the best gym I've been to! The personal attention to training and developing each individual as seen fit by the Owner - Don and other trainers is unmatched. The energy is positive, upbeat, and Don will push you to your full potential. I cannot say enough great things about the staff and gym.
