Your San Francisco (San Leandro, CA) terminal is a lousy joke and no one there can do their job correctly. I would assume when your terminal receives the truck load from the original location, if the BOL supposedly has a "call to schedule appointment" noted, wouldn't you think it'll be the right thing to do is to have someone call the consignee to set that up? Your dispatcher/worker sure as hell does not from this location. I called Friday to ask for delivery time with disclosing my PRO #, the customer service rep sounded confused and said I never setup an appointment. Funny, I never had to setup an appointment, ALL of my shipments have time crucial so it would go out ASAP. The CS said she will remove the appointment needed and it'll go out on Monday. Monday comes around, no shipment again. I called and the person said the same thing, the shipment needed an appointment. I asked why do I need to setup an appointment when it has been there since Friday and NO ONE has called me? This is unacceptable and ESTES is at fault. Within the past few months to year, my company has received 50-60 pallets from you guys, NONE required an appointment, and all of a sudden the one pallet STILL at your guys' terminal does, but no one has the audacity to call us to schedule said appointment. By the way, thank you for regularly sending the wrong size truck (or truck without lift gate) to my facility, despite the BOL always being correct 100% saying liftgate and 27' or less is needed for delivery to this address. You guys just lost another customer as I have told the shipper to not use you...

Our freight forwarder was handling the claim for the stolen goods with Estes (which is why we did not contact Estes as asked below, a claim was already in works). Basically, for the stolen item with a replacement value of $250, Estes compensated us $25.00. Basically it was a waste of our time and energy even bringing it up. So on top of today’s outrageous shipping charges, I guess you have to foot a bunch of additional insurance costs, so that these people can steal your personal property and suffer no repercussions. Great business model…

Shipment of random household goods shipped from SLC to San Francisco. Employees STOLE items off of my pallet. I have photos of the pallet being loaded onto their truck with the items ON the pallet. DO NOT use this company for any reason. Now we need our freight forwarder unwrap our pallet to check if anything else was stolen.
This company was contracted through our forwarder. If I would have read the reviews of this dump of a company, I would never have trusted them with my belongings.
See the photos: There should be TWO taller pieces protruding out of the top, which is also circled in red in the photo of the pallet being loaded onto their truck. The photo WITHOUT the longer piece was taken when it arrived at the forwarders location.
Also see the photo of the destroyed pallet.
You have been warned. Don’t use this company! Obviously they hire their employees straight...
Read moreWorst shipping company I have literally ever worked with. Don't hold your breathe trying to call a lady named Ruby. We called this lady literally 7 times, to schedule a pickup and never got an answer. Left messages and still no reply or call back. Customer service is a joke with this location. After I finally called the operator line and got a hold of the supervisor. I was asked to come pickup the item myself that they are getting paid to deliver.....smh. This package is needed to be delivered in a truck. Which I do not have. Which also is why this company is suppose to deliver this item! This isn't the first 1 star review that was left. So I hope people who decide to read these reviews see if they should use this company, or a better one that knows how to use or answer a phone. I'm having to now not only go rent a truck and drive out there to get my package, but now have to extend my rental and pay more money so the body shop can finish my car, all because this lady don't have the decency to answer her phone or call someone back. Its a shame, and I would be embarrassed if I was them not being able to stand by my business and word. Good Luck to this company I hope Ruby carries herself better than she does answering...
