Ok these two employees made Costco look terrible, they were very rude & acted very aggressive and I’ll be filling a complaint because it was outrageous how they believe they were innocent from acting with aggression. Jay G. & Todd , during closing were rushing people to leave, I’ve felt Threatened by them yelling at me and while I was trying to grab an item that was on the way out the time Todd took to tell me I can’t go any further he wasted didn’t make any sense, he literally stopped me to tell me a minute long reason why I can’t go any further. I wasn’t even going on that direction! And I told him my basket was at the check out already. He then proceeded me in the store as I’m walking to the registers, I took this as a form of harassment because he’s following me very close behind. As I proceeded to the self check out and turned around to go get his picture the other employee begin yelling at me you can’t go there you can’t stop you got to go you can’t go there! I couldn’t believe how he was acting he was being very threatening tone and even look like he was about to grab me and the other person Todd begin yelling at me also it was totally uncalled for and made me feel very uncomfortable. Soon as I turned around to take the other persons picture of his ID not even in his face he said you can take a picture of me and I said I don’t wanna take a picture of you I just wanna take a picture of your name where you can’t take a picture of me I’m taking a picture of your name he continue to argue with me. And then they both meet up and try to act innocent of no wrong-doing. It was outrageous I couldn’t believe it I asked to talk to the manager. They begin smirking and laughing at me and then another guy made another smart comment as he passed by as I’m trying to check out all nervous I was and still right now I can’t even write this correctly. I took this as a form of bullying as a form of harassment and discriminating while they did not say anything I was also treated poorly throughout the day and it seems to be of just how I dress and look which is very sad that the world is still so superficial. I was not dressed dirty or inappropriate just a different style that I sense threaten these people. Read moreI usually go to a different Costco but recently went to the San Marcos Costco since it was on our way. We get there around 7:45pmish and then right at close 8:30pm, I start hearing forklift sounds, turn around and there is an employee with her hands crossed behind me saying they are closed for me to check out. She didn’t say it as friendly reminder kind of way either. She did it with an attitude and a tone that seemed to say “I hate you, why are you even here?” She then continued to follow me until I got out to the check our area which I’ve never experienced in any other Costco store at close time or any other store in my life. I was almost done anyway but felt annoyed that she treated me like a criminal. Either way, it wasn’t really a big deal yet. I got up to the cashier which has a long line, which doesn’t make sense, because the other Costco usually has more lines to get people through at this time of the night. One employee yelled out for us to go to another line that had a closed sign on it but we walked there anyway since she told us to go then that cashier told us she’s closing and was wondering who would even tell us to go to her cashier line. So I walked back with my cart to the long and only remaining line. Since we were waiting in line, I thought I’d go back to check through to make sure I didn’t forget anything important that I meant to come for. That’s when I had another male employee giving me a difficult time and blocking the way for me to access the rest of the store stating that it’s because there were forklifts being used but you can tell they were all empty forklifts roaming around designed to just make sounds to push the remaining customers out. He can clearly see we are in line just waiting to check out. That’s when I had enough and just left my stuff. I spend minimal $500 each time I shop at Costco which is every week to every other week and I can easily take my money elsewhere. Every business has a close time and what normally happens is they announce a reminder for closure, customers normally will start finishing up and go up to pay but they usually do not harass customers. I manage a team in customer service and I would never let my reps make any customer feel that way no matter what time of the day it is. Read moreJuly 11 2022: I forgot my costco membership card so I went to go get a day use slip from the membership area. Only to find out that I have two accounts just the main cardholder was my mother in one account and myself in the other account. Same people in the membership only difference is that we're both flip flopped as the main cardholder in two seperate accounts. I asked how long have I had 2 accounts the woman rep (Sarahi) notified me since 2018. So I asked how does that happen and how I have not been notified. She gave me a refund for the year but I was angry because my mother had been asking me if I was paying it and I said yes but she said she had paid it because it was expired a few times she went to shop. So we were paying for both memberships since 2018. I called customer service and asked how does this happen how does a service member not notify us about having 2 accounts and paying 2 accounts. I verified we had been paying since 2018 the account had been renewing 2 memberships. But since we paid sometimes with the cashier that they didn't know. Well I am very angry I am in a very tight income and to know that they took our money and just allowed it to be renewed for years is not right. My mother, at her age, still works. I myself haven't been working since a few weeks ago and I find this unacceptable. We thought we would be saving money. The customer service in person made it seem like my reason to be upset was too much since she was refunding me this year. But how would I know they never deleted the other account. If they can take our money then they should take responsibility and make it right and refund us the years we have been paying. The associate who created the account should be to blame. My mother and myself live on what we earn we don't have the luxury of giving money away to a big company that makes millions. The phone rep also said there is nothing to be done and she expressed how the 2 accounts in no way is anyone of their employees at fault but our fault for renewing it. I will be cancelling my membership and I'm ready to take this all the way. I am so sick and tired of big companies getting away with things like this....
